2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 1C (THE HEART OF THE MATTER)

Dan. 9:3-6

“And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; We have sinned, and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments. Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.”

Corporate repentance is the secret of corporate deliverance. It is not right to say it is well when it is not, if you do, then it is tantamount to hypocrisy. Your heart must agree with what your mouth is saying. In the place of prayer, God listens more to the heart than the mouth. We know about faith confessions but if your heart is not in agreement with what you say, then it cannot fly. We must, therefore, adhere strictly to the tenets of the word of God in this programme.

God knows the minutest details of our hearts, he knows our heart condition. The heart of the matter is the matter of heart. If you miss it at the heart level, don’t waste your time. It is unfortunate that some people climb the ecclesiastical ladder today with the wrong heart and wrong motive. 1 Cor. 3:11 says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Get it right at the foundation. The Bible says everybody’s work shall be tested by fire. We are serving a God who desires truth in the hidden part of our heart.

• Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I worship and adore you. Grant me the grace to come out of this program burning and shinning for Jesus Christ your eternal son in Jesus’ name. Amen.
