2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 6D (WORSHIP THE KING)

Worship and commitment go together; you need not teach a worshipper faithfulness and commitment. You need not teach a worshipper holiness because the only place where a worshipper can commit sin is where God cannot see him or her. ‘How can I offend the object of my love?’ you need not teach a worshipper reverential fear of God because it is already in him or her. A worshipper will not do anything to offend the object of his or her devotion.

The devil disguised himself as a snake in the garden. Adam abdicated his responsibility. What business has a snake in the garden that he was asked to tend? It is the result of ingratitude and abdication of responsibility. Wherever you find an expression of ingratitude, there will be some crookedness. Such a person might be working but it is not from the heart because the heart is already perverted. Wherever the snake operates, there will be crookedness and perversion.

The first thing that was perverted was worship in the garden of the heart. The first deception took place in the garden of the heart of Lucifer. He came into the Garden of Eden with a strategy to pervert the word of God. “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Gen 3:1b) the devil suggests, God commands. That is one of the ways to recognize the voice of the devil.

The best time to abort sin is at the stage of conception. Don’t room to the devil; don’t engage him in a conversation. You don’t have what it takes to outwit him because he has been in the business of deception for over six thousand years. Adam did not rebuke Eve when she ate the fruit; instead he partook of it contrary to the word of God. Any romance against the word of God is perversion and only leads to damnation. Glory be to God, our heavenly Father decided to give man a second chance.

Sin, however, brought separation and nakedness (the eyes of Adam and Even opened) – the glory cover was removed. Sin cuts short the glory of God and that is why wise people deliberately ensure that they don’t sin. Having been exposed to spiritual warfare as a result of my level of commitment, I know the importance of consecration. My life, therefore, cannot be ordinary. The Lord has taught me very deep things. Working in deliverance ministry for over twenty-five years has shown me deep intricacies of how these things work.

Pray –

• Heavenly Father I celebrate your word in the garden of my heart. Grant me the grace to always resist the devil so that he will flee from me. Empower me by your spirit to live above sin, self, Satan and all his works all the days of my life, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
