2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 8C (HOW TO CELEBRATE JESUS)

A MESSAGE DELIVERED ON THE 25TH OF DECEMBER, 2021

I enjoin you to allow God to mark your script; learn to judge your life according to the standard of the word of God. Don’t bring the standard of the word of God to your standard and feel good when you don’t even measure up. The God we serve is a thrice holy and all knowing God. In the place of prayer, he looks at the heart; if the heart is not pure, whatever you do cannot fly. If you don’t get it right in the garden of your heart, everything you do will amount to an exercise in futility. I don’t believe in being unproductive; I want all my efforts to produce results.

Straighten up your life. Stand right with God. Make God your sun and your shield so that he can give you grace, supernatural empowerment to live above sin, to love what he loves and to go out of your way to please him. He will give you supernatural empowerment to hate what he hates; to drop the things that you need to drop, to break away from your crooked ways, straighten up and then look up.

Psa. 84:11, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psa. 37:4 says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart”. It is better to spend your time straightening up, in the place of repentance, consecration, and re-dedication before you start  “binding and loosing”. When you do this, the desires of your heart will become answered prayers. I believe that it is easier to delight oneself in the Lord so that God can take over from there.

Pray –

• Heavenly Father, I worship and adore you. I align my will with your will and ask you to grant me the grace to walk uprightly with you all the days of my life. I trust you to grant me the desires of my heart and make my heart perfect before you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
