RETURN TO THE CROSS V

How do you go to the cross?  You don’t have to worship any cross, Jesus is no longer on the cross, he is at the right hand side of the Father. Take up your cross and follow Jesus means don’t ever remove your focus from what he has done. Spiritual power is focus. I go to the cross daily – I just kneel down, worship Jesus. The cross is the greatest place of exchange; it was on the cross that the scripture in Matt. 11:28 (“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”) was fulfilled. Go to the cross with your burdens, kneel down and talk to Jesus. Tell him – I have come to exchange my weaknesses for your strength, I have come to drop my burdens and I take your peace. I have come to drop my worries and I take your joy. I exchange my foolishness for your wisdom. Just go on and on. By the time you get up from that place, you will notice that there has been a change; it is no longer you. That is how to go to the cross. You don’t need to construct a cross in order to go to the cross. It is not a physical thing but spiritual.

Any love that is not built on truth is fake. Whenever you plead the blood of Jesus, you are carrying the cross. Also learn to raise the cross of Christ against contrary powers. Before the ark, dagon must bow. Learn to pray – You evil altars operating in this environment, I say to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, perish from under this heaven and earth in Jesus’ name!

The cross is the greatest symbol of dominion over darkness. You can’t have dominion over darkness if you have thrown away the cross. The blood of Jesus Christ gives us access to his throne of grace; the name of Jesus gives us access to his lordship. Our greatest asset is our access. Meditate on this. Now you can enter into the throne of grace because of the blood of Jesus. Everything happened on the cross. If you remove the cross, there is nothing left. Phil. 2:5-7, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men”. Jesus humbled himself.

In God’s kingdom, the way up is down. The way down is up. Satan exalted himself and God cast him down. Jesus humbled himself and God lifted him.

• Lord, I thank you for how far you went to secure my salvation. Thank you for what you have done. Thank you for lifting me. Thank you for the greatest sacrifice. Thank you for the greatest display of love. Thank you for grace. Blessed be your precious name. None can compare with you in glory, none can compare with you in might. None can compare with you in wisdom. You are highly exalted. I declare your glory. I reverence you. I honor you. Only you are worthy. Receive all the praise and all thanksgiving in Jesus’ name.
