AN ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS THE HEALER IX

“Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad” (Psa. 45:6-8). You want to know the anointing of the Holy Ghost above average? 

1. Flee from anything that defiles.
2. Return to the cross. 
3. Acquire a sanctified feet so that you can fulfill Luke 10:19. 

If we profess to be Christians, let us live like Christ – 1 John 2:6, “Anyone who says he is a Christian should live as Christ did” (TLB). Show me anyone who has had a definite encounter with Christ and I will show you a Christ-like person. I will show you someone who has acquired a sanctified feet. I will show you someone who is a healing agent in a sick world. I will show you someone who loves to do the will of the Father. I will show you someone who is pressing on and walking hand in hand with the Father so that his purpose will be fulfilled here on earth. I will show you an enforcer of righteousness in God’s kingdom not a compromiser. I will show you the one who is so tuned to the frequency of heaven and saying Maranatha (O Lord, come!). 

Jesus is the anointed One and that anointing destroys the yoke of sickness. Isa. 10:27, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing”. Every burden that the enemy has placed upon you shall be taken away in the name of Jesus. The Bible was written from an agrarian society – the concept of yoke is a wooden bar or frame that is attached to the heads or necks of two work animals such as oxen and attached to the plough or cart that they are to pull. 

That is exactly how it is for anyone who is yoked. The power of God, the anointing of the Holy Ghost destroys that yoke. Every yoking together shall be destroyed in Jesus name. The Bible says you should not be unequally yoked together; anyone who is yoked with the devil is not free. That is why the Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Anything that yokes you to the devil will be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. You shall be set free to serve the living God.

An encounter with Jesus Christ of Nazareth is a total liberation encounter. May you have that encounter today in Jesus name. Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord”. This is Jesus’ mission statement. The same spirit that is in Christ Jesus will come upon you when you have an encounter with Christ. The same works that Jesus Christ did, you will do and even greater works.

• Heavenly Father thank you. I worship you, and magnify your name. Jesus I ask you to reveal yourself to me in a life changing encounter. Thank you so much for what you did for me on the cross at calvary. I belong to you forever, Amen.
