WONDERFUL GOD I

We are serving the God of wonders; anyone who is not serving the God of wonders is not serving the living God. This is because what we call the wonders of God are nothing but his various infinite manifestations. When he manifests in a way you never imagined, for you, he appears wonderful and he never exhausts that from his repertoire. He is limitless in his capabilities and that is the reason why the elders in heaven worship him continuously saying holy, holy, holy. When they see a particular manifestation of God, they worship him the more. That is the only thing they do daily.

Heaven is a wonderful place, full of the wonders of God. That is why you must be there. Anyone who misses heaven has not succeeded. The greatest failure is to miss heaven. The greatest success is to make heaven at last. It does not really matter what you have been here and what you have accomplished. This should streamline our pursuits. The reason why a lot of people miss it is because they leave what they should be chasing and start chasing other things. Anyone who wants to make heaven but pointing in the direction of hell has missed it. It is only the wonders of God that can relocate, re-direct and re-position such a person. That is why we need to be careful of who we follow; there are leaders who are already heading in the direction of hell and looking for people to take along with them.

The reason why a lot of people chase shadow and miss the real thing is because they think that heaven is only in the imagination of the writers of the Bible. Heaven is real. To miss heaven is to embrace hell. There is nothing like purgatory. Purgatory is an error, there is no intermediate place, you either make heaven or you miss it.

Study the life of anyone who has ever had a heavenly encounter, you will discover that they never remain the same. It is not about going to Church, it is not about occupying ecclesiastic positions. In fact, one of the things that shocked me when I was called into the ministerial council of the Church where I served was how the ministers were behaving like politicians. I discovered that there were camps in the council of ministers. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to play Church and miss God. When you begin to climb the ecclesiastical ladder, it gives you a false sense of attainment; you feel that you are making progress. You could actually be making progress but in a wrong direction. Anybody who is not making progress in the upward way is moving in the wrong way.

• Everlasting and most merciful father, I worship and adore you. I give you all the glory for your mercies endure forever, your faithfulness to all generations. I celebrate your wonders and ask you to make it impossible for me to miss heaven in Jesus’ name. Amen.
