If the platform is evil, the outcome can never be good. If the process is evil, the final result cannot be good.

The ungodly are foolish no matter the position they occupy. Psa. 14:1b says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.” Psa. 53:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.” Whoever runs his or her life without God is a fool.

Don’t be envious of the prosperity of the wicked. Psa. 73:3, “For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.” This is one of the problems of Church goers today. The prosperity message is weak in producing disciplined concrete Christians. If you pursue gold, you will miss God.

Psa. 73:12, 18, “Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.” Prov. 1:32, “For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.” The question is – what are you chasing? Remember that what you chase will always be ahead of you. Elevate your pursuits to God. Be a God chaser. The Bible says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:33).

The entire Psalm 1 is an instructive Psalm which everyone needs to memorize. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” The New Living Translation puts verse 6 this way, “For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.”

Eph. 2:5, “Even when we were dead in sins, hath he quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Whenever any power tries to unseat you, remember the name of Jesus Christ.

  • Heavenly Father, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end in my life, family, business, in this ministry and in this nation in the mighty name of Jesus.
