2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (REND THE HEAVENS 3C)

Giving is not wrong but giving has been taken to a point where it is no longer healthy and no longer the truth of the word. We need a lot of retraining even in the songs we sing today. True moves of God come with their own songs that set the stage. One of my greatest prayer points is revival; that God will revive his Church. I pray that you will be part of that revival process. I believe that a very major revival is coming because people are asking questions.

A major revival is coming and it will start from the Church; it will sweep across the nations and I believe that the kind of power that will be demonstrated in this revival will shake nations. I believe that this revival will usher in the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ but before then the rapture of the true Church must have taken place.

When the trumpet from heaven shall sound,
when the Lord shall come for his saints,
when the trumpet from heaven shall sound,
I will be with the Lord in the sky.

When the eternal bridegroom shall come for his saints;
at the marriage supper of the Lamb, dressed in the robe of righteousness,
I’ll be there by his grace on that day!

It is my prayer that you will be there also. Keep that in perspective always. We are pilgrims here. Where we are going is far better than where we are coming from.

Pray –

• I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved in Jesus’ name.

The greatest insurance against distraction is focus on the Lord; set your face like a flint. Nobody ever stumbles into heaven by chance. Heaven is for very serious-minded intentional people who have decided to make it. One of the greatest songs ever written is:

            I have decided to follow Jesus (3ce), No turning back, no turning back!

When I read the story behind this song, I marvel at the kind of Christianity we are practicing today. Persecution brings the best out of the Church while prosperity destroys the Church because it brings dilution; it brings distraction and deception. It makes people lose focus. That was exactly what happened to the Churches in Turkey, they were busy doing other things when the jihadist swept them off. The secret is – set the Lord always before you. Be intentional about your walk with God – singleness of purpose, not a little here and a little there. If you have missed it, ask God to help you. Be a person of integrity, a person of character. Let your word be your bond.

Use the Lord Jesus Christ as your standard. How much of Christian character have you imbibed in this journey? Remember whenever you ask God to rend the heavens and come down and he answers, will he smile at you? Will you be part of the mountains that he will touch and will smoke?

Pray –

• Lord, please help me. You know the things that are capable of making me miss your mark, you know the areas where I am failing. I do not want to continue to fail you, please help me to walk hand in hand with you. Help me to be Christlike in character in the name of Jesus.
• In every area of my life, make me a person of integrity. Let my yes be yes and my no to be no. Lord, do not allow me to say no when I should say yes. Do not allow me to say yes when I should say no!
• Grant me the grace to reflect your glorious image and to be your worthy ambassador. When people look around me, may they see Jesus.
• Make my life the gospel that my neighbors will see and turn to Christ in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you blessed Lord, in Jesus’ name.
