2022/2023 OPERATION 18-18 – (FIRE OF HIS PRESENCE 1B)

I want you to desire the fire of the presence of God, I can preach about it for a long time but until you experience it, it will seem like a story. One of the best things that happened to me is the baptism by fire. It was because I was not baptized with fire that I backslid. It is difficult for those who are baptized by fire and have experienced it to backslide.

Take note that whatever yanks you outside of the presence of God is your greatest enemy. Remember that our God is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29). The fire is the fire of God’s presence not the fire of your presence. Jesus Christ is the baptizer in Holy Ghost and fire. There are two dimensions of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A lot of people are satisfied with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues, that is not bad, but we must desire something deeper – fire baptism. Fire makes you an igniter.

“And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place. And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings. The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out”.

Leviticus 6:12-13 KJV

David understood this and prayed, take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Fire of the presence of God is another dimension of the power of God that is resident. Fire will announce you. You don’t need any title when you carry the fire of his presence. Miracles follow you when you carry fire, you don’t need to chase after miracles. Jesus baptizes with Holy Ghost and fire. I want you to stretch for it.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”.

Luke 24:49 KJV

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; (not before) and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

Acts 1:8 KJV

It is counterproductive to try to witness without power. It may even be dangerous to witness without the power of the presence of God the Holy Ghost. There are several dimensions of the precious Holy Spirit – there is the wind dimension, the rain, the oil and fire dimensions. All these are symbols of the Holy Spirit. The fire dimension is the power dimension, how we need it!

Fire offers you a protective hedge. You need fire to break into the enemy territory and take back what belongs to you and come out unhurt. Without the fire, it is dangerous to confront agents of darkness and that was why Jesus told his disciples to tarry. In ministry, there are several casualties as a result of failure to heed this instruction. It takes fire to step on serpents and scorpions. The more the fire, the better!  The fire of the presence of God will guarantee that even when you step on snake, it will not bite you. Nobody can mess up with you when you carry the fire.

Fire makes you an extraordinary person in an ordinary world. The fire does not come by chance, you need to ask for it just as you desired the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
