2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (THE SNARE IS BROKEN 2B)

The mercy of God will cover up every mess. Whenever you celebrate the mercies of God, the presence of God descends. He is plenteous in mercy. He is faithful and just to forgive all our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Pray –

• Father, please look into my life, wherever I have missed it, everything is laid bare before you, today, I confess all my iniquities, shortcomings, transgressions and all my sins.
• I confess every bitterness in my heart, every resentment, every strife, anything that makes you sad, anything that defiles and damns, anything that gives the enemy access into any area of my life, Lord, I lay bare before you, have mercy in the name of Jesus.
• Forgive all my transgression and wash me thoroughly from every impurity. Purge me, cleanse me, and make me acceptable in your sight. According unto the multitude of your tender mercy, please blot out all my sins, transgressions and, iniquities.
• Eternal rock of ages, you desire truth in the inward part, in any way that my heart has deceived me, Father in the name of Jesus, please forgive. Anything in my heart that is not right, I turn over to you and ask you in the name of Jesus to perform the necessary surgery. Remove anything that should not be there. Roll away every agent of defilement.
• I hand over my heart to you, transform my heart and let your river of life flow in the garden of my heart. Whatever the river touches is made whole. Lord, make me whole in Jesus’ mighty name I pray.

ACTION POINT –

• Use Jer. 14:20-22 to repent identificationally.

The problem of the world today is idolatry, it has always been. If you study the fall of man, you will discover traces of idolatry; if Adam were a worshipper, he would never have elevated the word of a snake above the word of God. Anything you place side by side God in your heart is your idol. You may be in a big Church but be far from God.

One thing about the Christian ethics is the inwardness; Christian ethics is different from other ethics. Ethics is the study of behaviour. Christian ethics entails how a child of God should behave. That is what it measures. It is quite different from social ethics. What people refer to as good, may mean nothing in the sight of God.

The Bible says if the foundation be destroyed what can the righteous do (Psalm 11:3). Every foundation built on idolatry is waste, whatever anyone builds on top of it amounts to wood, hay and stubble. That is exactly what a lot of people are doing. No other foundation can any man lay according to 1 Cor. 3:11. If the foundation is not built on true worship of the living God, on Christ, the incarnate word and on fanatic love for his word and his person, idolatry is inevitable. God hates idolatry. It is a frontal violation of the first commandment. The moment you veer off from divine prescription, you are doing your own thing. It is very easy to be propagating your own thing and think that you are still aligned with God.
