2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (COVENANT OF HEALING AND HEALTH IV)

Basically there are four reasons why people fall sick:

4. Carelessness.
When I see some people eat certain kinds of food, I get amazed. A lot of people use their money to buy things that can kill them, sadly, they call it good life. There is so much careless eating, careless talk, careless exposure and so on. There is a German proverb that says, man is what man eats. Today, a lot of ‘poisons’ are packaged as food. These things defile the temple; your body is the temple for the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 3:16. In verse 17 of the same scripture, the Bible says whatever defiles his temple, it shall the Lord destroy. We must treat the temple of God with care. What are you eating? A lot of people desire to live up to ninety years but what they are eating cannot prolong their lives.

We need to make lifestyle changes. Some foods are not meant for adults, you can get nutrients from natural sources or plant based food. In Asian countries a lot of people live healthy even to old age because of their lifestyles; they avoid processed foods. When people form the habit of eating processed foods, sickness is inevitable.

As we progress in this journey, endeavour to drop things that can harm your health. If possible, let water be your only drink, throw away carbonated drinks. Eat more of natural plant based foods and fruits. Throw away genetically modified foods. Chemicals are corrosive. Eat more organic foods.

If you clear sin, take away ignorance, deal with demons, resist the devil and avoid carelessness, by the grace of God, you will live long. You will have no need for physicians. God has given us the name of Jesus which gives us access to his Lordship. He has given us the blood of Jesus which gives us access to his throne of grace.

As children of God, we are meant to be healing agents; not only are we supposed to be healthy, we should be ‘doctors’ in our environment. We should lay our hands on the sick and they shall be healed. “And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17). This is the believers’ mandate. It shall be fulfilled in your life this year in the mighty name of Jesus.
