2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (SUPERNATURAL EMPOWERMENT TO LIVE ABOVE STUBBORN CHALLENGES 2B)

Remember that God has the final say. Just one word from God is all it takes to change the world. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the raging of the sea (Psalm 93:4). Just keeping lifting the Lord on high and you will see that he is mightier than any unsatisfactoriness of things. Whatever the enemy is using to steal your peace is a noise. A simple definition of noise is that noise is an unwanted frequency. Anything that is not satisfactory is a noise. The Lord on high is mightier than that noise.

The name of Jesus Christ gives us access to his Lordship. Where the Lord is, every other thing bows. God has given us a name that is above every other name, at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee must bow. If it has a name, then it must have a knee. When you call the name of Jesus, you will see it bow (Phil 2:9-10).

This year, do not spare. But before you start using the name of Jesus, remember the blood, go to the cross. Always take up the cross. That is Jesus’ own prescription. You want to manifest like him, take up the cross. You want to be his true disciple, take up the cross, ride with the cross (Luke 9:23). The cross may not be dignified, but that is where the power is. Every Christian virtue is encapsulated in the cross.

I entered into ministry through intercession, praying for people. At a point, when you get to certain levels of intercession, you start confronting spirits. That is how demons start manifesting even when you are not trying to chase them because you carry enough fire that expose and expel them. When this happens, people start calling you a deliverance minister but there is no title like that in the Bible.

When demons manifest, cast them out but they are not the focus. I am a worshipper; I worship God in spirit and in truth. I don’t want to be in error because one error is enough not only to destroy the ministry but the minister including the followers who imbibe the error. That is why we need to dig deep into the word of God and stay on the word. Take the words of our Lord Jesus very seriously. Take up the cross daily and follow him. Any day you don’t take up the cross, you are misrepresenting him.

The cross is the greatest demonstration of the truth and the mercy of God. The cross is the meeting point between humanity and divinity. Truth and mercy kissed each other on the cross.

“All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.” 

Psalm 25:10, KJV

The God of mercy is also the God of truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). If you take up the cross, you will not miss God.

We have established how stubborn challenges started. God himself was challenged by the one whose heart deceived, Lucifer the worship leader. Once you pervert worship, you produce idolatry easily. We saw how God confronted it. Challenges are meant to be confronted and overcome. I decided to be an overcomer after reading the book of Revelations and discovered that the only people who are rewarded are overcomers and that is why you must overcome in the name of Jesus. The battle of the ages is on, nobody chooses it, you were born into it but you can make up your mind to be an overcomer. Thank God for Jesus, in him, we are more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37).

The cross of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is the greatest symbol of dominion over stubborn challenges because there God solved the greatest problem of man as a result of sin. The blood that overcomes the leviathan heads was shed on the cross, glory to God.
