2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (LIFTED ABOVE EVIL COVENANTS 2A)

A lot of long standing challenges are as a result of evil covenants. A covenant is an agreement that is binding between two or more parties. A covenant can be good; it can be evil depending on the spirit behind it. Evil covenants are made by evil spirits in evil altars. But we have a covenant that speaks better than any other covenant; the everlasting covenant that we are born into as children of the most high God when we gave our lives to Christ. Celebrate this.

You need to have the revelation of who you are. It is because people don’t understand who they are in Christ and what they have in him that they enter into contrary agreements or evil covenants. When things are not working well for them, they continue to wonder why in spite of the fact that they are “faithful” and they climb the ecclesiastical ladder, but there are things that are holding them down.

Demons are obstinate rascals. Evil covenants are enforced by demonic powers; they know the covenants that are made in their domain. They are like the police; they are enforcers who ensure that those covenants are complied with. Going contrary to a covenant comes with its consequences, whether they are good or evil covenants.

The greatest problem of the African Christian is primitive idolatry. There is idolatry everywhere but the worst type is the primitive idolatry. Idolatry is so easy to practice. It is the fastest growing religion in the world today. Idolatry is the perversion of worship. Anywhere you find worship perverted, there is idolatry. It is so easy to pervert worship.

Worship is ‘worthship’, placement of value. One of the many definitions of faith is that faith is placement of value in our relationship with our heavenly Father. That is why you don’t teach a true worshipper faith. If faith is correct placement of value in our relationship with God, any misplacement of that value will produce the reverse.

How do you value your relationship with God (Placement of value)? You don’t teach a true worshipper faith because he is faithful. You don’t teach a true worshipper the fear of God, his reverential fear of God is there already. You don’t teach a true worshipper giving; it is part and parcel of him, he cannot worship God with empty hands.

The problem of the Church today is that she concentrates more on raising members instead of raising disciples. You don’t own any Church; there is only one true owner of the Church. Once you begin to own Church, then you are a usurper and an idolater. It is so easy to misplace value.

The devil knows the power of worship. He can’t stop people from worshipping so what he does is to pervert worship. Remember that whatever he touches gets perverted. He was the worship leader in heaven. He knows the power of worship and he sought to be worshipped. It was his heart that deceived him and he decided that he will be like the most high – the five ‘I wills’ of Lucifer (Isa.14:12-14). He made those proclamations in his heart and God said, no, you are not fit to be here.

God listens to the voice of your heart, be careful. The devil never came out to utter his desires, he said them in his heart and God heard him loudly because he is a holy and righteous God and heaven is a holy righteous place. God banished him. A third of the angels who aligned with him were also banished. We must be very careful. I shiver at a lot of things today. People support nonsense and still think they are standing. Be careful of who you support.
