2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (LET THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED II)

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

Ephesians 3:20-21, KJV

Many times people quote this scripture but until you understand the implications, you may not be able to properly appropriate it. A lot of people just gloss over things. The average person does not give thorough thought to these things. If you cannot define something thoroughly, how can you appropriate it? How can you find what you have not defined? How can you live what you have not found?

When it comes to the ability of God, there is no one word that can be used to describe it. God is able, more than able. He is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all we can comprehend, all we can fathom. He is more than able to do it. Whenever we talk about the abilities of God, it is always in superlative terms because his ability is limitless; it is infinity raised to power infinity.

God is able to do abundantly, exceedingly above but the limiting factor is that the power of God is a potential. It has to flow through us; through his power that worketh through us. It is about how much of his power that works through us, that is where problem is. We must appreciate that the problem is not always whether there is enough power to handle issues. There is. God is able. The issue is not with him but with man always. The power of God works like electricity; it works like current. Power is voltage raised to power two over r where r is resistance. If v (voltage) raised to power two is big but r is bigger, the power will be little. It is possible to reduce God’s power to zero. Many times when people come to the presence of God, do all the prayers, yet everything is reduced to zero. That is why in the place of prayer, it will do us a lot of good to spend quality time in consecration; quality consecration, cleaning up. Don’t ever rush into any spiritual exercise. Work on yourself.

As you clean up, you are reducing the value of r (resistance). Self is reduced, mortified. There are so many things that can reduce the power that flows through you to nothing, to zero. These include all the self sins such as pride, bitterness and so on. These sins make r (resistance) infinity; idolatry of any form, unforgiveness is a blockade, unbelief, no matter the anointing you carry, if you come across an unbeliever, there is nothing you can do. God does not answer the prayer of unbelief. We need to understand this.

Before we present our prayer requests, let us spend quality time to clean up. Unconfessed sin raises r (resistance) to infinity. If you hold someone in unforgiveness, God classifies you as the wicked. Of course, the prayer of the wicked, the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination before God (Prov. 15:8). These things are no longer being taught.

People have elevated sowing seeds as if seed sowing covers sin. Seed does not eliminate sin. The only seed that removes sin is repentance, true and quality repentance. That is the seed required not money. When a sinner brings a lot of money to the Church to donate, he will be applauded but his record remains zero raised to power zero over zero; everything is zero multiplied. As far as God is concerned, it is hay, wood, and stubble. Fire will examine everybody’s work. That is the difference between Christian ethics and other ethics.
