2023/2024 OPERATION 18-18 – (LET THE LORD BE MAGNIFIED VIII)

“Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” 

Psalm 37:4, KJV

If you use this scripture and Psalm 35:27 to pray into your prayer requests, all your prayers shall be answered. However, before you pray into them, you must clean up. When you are a worshipper, God will pay you a night visit as he did to Solomon. When Solomon became an idolater, God left him and he started using his brain to do things. He started doing trial and error. This is because he did not magnify nor celebrate the Lord.

It is so easy to start with worship and end up an idolater. It happened to Solomon to the extent he started acquiring all manner of wives who came with their gods. One misstep is all it takes. That is why we must be careful of what we allow into the garden of our heart.

The basis, the very foundation of worship, is authentic love for God; being so fanatically in love with God that the idea of substituting that love for anything else does not even remotely exist. That is the true meaning of worship.

Pray –

• Father, make me a true worshipper. For the rest of my life, I want to worship you in spirit and in truth in the mighty name of Jesus.
• Let your name be magnified in every facet of my life and as I do, deliver me from the slippery path of idolatry in Jesus name.
• Help me to break away from Babylon and to embrace you. I trust you to work out your plans for me. Show me your mercy in Jesus name.

You may ask the question, how do I magnify the Lord? You magnify the Lord by living right, living according to his dictates, his word. What God agenda are you fulfilling in your generation? How many souls have you posted up? What will be said of your spiritual achievements? How many of your prayer requests pertain to the kingdom? The request Solomon made when he was still standing right with God was about his kingdom not about toys.

The easiest way to have your needs met is to start meeting the needs of the kingdom. God has needs and his needs are associated with the needs of men. Horizontally, be a healing agent in a sick world and the healing anointing will follow you. Touch somebody’s life. Lift someone and you will see your hand lifted. It is as simple as that. That is practical Christianity and that is what God wants you to live this year.

By this shall men know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another (John 13:35). Have vertical love for God and horizontal love for God’s object of love. You love what God loves and hate what he hates and you love God with all your heart. You are holy. That is the meaning of holiness. Firstly, love God with all your heart. Secondly, love what God loves and who God loves and thirdly, hate what God hates. That is holiness. You don’t teach a worshipper obedience or faith because he has already given his total commitment to God who is faithful. The faithfulness of God has become his daily experience and he has become a channel of it.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Psalm 84:11, KJV

Pray –

• Lord, help me to focus on you this year more than on any other thing in the name of Jesus. I know you will grant me grace and shield me with your glory. I trust you Lord that you will not withhold any good thing from me.
• Help me to walk uprightly. Deliver me from the ways of the snake. Deliver me from every form of crookedness. Help me to straighten my life. Grant me grace to stand right with you in Jesus mighty name I pray.
