THERE SHALL BE NO MORE WASTE 2C

Until you start taking the word of God from the perspective of how it can be applied for your good, you may not be excited to open the Bible. There are so many ways to read the Bible but the best way is to read it from the perspective of what to live. I have never read the Bible from the perspective of what to teach, that has never been my preoccupation. I read the Bible for what to live. When you begin to do that, heaven will open your eyes to the very deep dimensions of the word. You will be hungry for the word, you will appreciate that you are about to download the greatest wisdom; the wisdom that is superior to the wisdom of the world.

I love the definition of wisdom that says, wisdom is the correct application of knowledge for one’s personal benefit and for the benefit of others. That is exactly what the word of God does for you; it makes you wise. Wisdom will promote your life. Wisdom will protect you. Wisdom will preserve you. Wisdom will ensure that you do not derail. Wisdom will perfect. Wisdom will empower and make you see very far in the thick of the dark. Wisdom will almost make you see the end from the beginning. You can tell where someone is going to land by the first steps the person takes, by the direction the person is facing.

When people are in the dark, they tend to make wrong decisions; they will embrace their foes and expect the best. When wisdom is not properly applied, people submit to nonsense and expect things to make sense.

“And when they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.”
John 6:12, KJV

Even in the time of abundance and overflow, God does not waste resources. Wherever you find waste, it is not of God. There was a challenge; Jesus stepped in and he became a solution. He multiplied resources to the extent that there was an overflow; twelve basket full gathered from the left over. He gave his disciples the instruction – make sure that nothing is lost. It is your responsibility to ensure that nothing is lost. Wherever you go today, you will find waste all over the place. Some of the dimensions of waste are:

  1. Waste of efforts
  2. Waste of energy
  3. Waste of resources
  4. Waste of time
  5. Waste of health
  6. Waste of opportunities
  7. Waste of life
  8. Waste of destinies

There is no wisdom in waste. One of the seven pillars of wisdom is prudence, ability to manage resources for ultimate benefit of everyone.
