2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (DON’T BOW TO NONSENSE III)

God chasers don’t bow to nonsense. Elijah did not bow.

“The the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and behold, he sat on top of a hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said unto the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.”

Pray –

• I shall be above only, I shall never be beneath. Any power, any evil personality that wants me down, receive fire in the mighty name of Jesus.

That is the language that the adversary understands. Who is the king when I have the King of kings as my Father? Most of the people who are supposed to checkmate nonsense have become nonsensical. When you bow, you lose your individuality. When you bow, you fuse. May you never say yes when you ought to say no in the mighty name of Jesus.

Pray –

• Father, make it impossible for me to say yes to anything I should say no to. Make it impossible for me to surrender my will to the will of the adversary in the powerful name of Jesus.

The king sent his soldiers to go and kidnap the man of God. The only man of God that can be kidnapped is the one who has not learnt to be on top of the mountain. Man of God is not a title; it is by divine ordination and not by democratic election, selection or patronage. The greatest thing that makes you a man of God is the “Call” (of God). Whatever challenges that call is directly challenging God and not you.

A time comes when you must declare – If I be a man of God! It is your responsibility to make this declaration whenever anyone tries to mess up with you. How dare they order a man of God around? Who is the king? Elijah called down fire and the captain and his fifty were consumed. But here, we can see the recklessness of wickedness; the king did not stop there, he sent another captain with his fifty because his heart was already hardened. I have noticed this pattern in ministry; whenever the devil wants to destroy people, he hardens their hearts to instructions of wisdom. If you study the kings of Israel and Judah, you will notice this pattern. God chasers don’t bow to nonsense; Elijah did not bow. Receive the grace never to bow to nonsense in the mighty name of Jesus. Anything that is not consistent with the revealed will of God as enunciated in his word is not for a child of God to comply with. It is nonsense.
