SEVEN DAYS COVENANT PRAYER PROGRAMME

Every promise in the word of God is a Covenant and our God is a Covenant-keeping God.

Life without Christ is empty and full of crisis. This is because there is no peace for the wicked. Whenever the wicked is mentioned, the mind of many tend to go towards murderers or hardened criminals, it is so easy to be classified. There are only two classes of people; the righteous and the unrighteous. We must ensure that we are on the side of righteousness otherwise we will be classified as the wicked.

Our righteousness, according to the Bible, is like filthy rags before God. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. If you remove Christ, how can one be righteous? This is why Christ is the anchor; the one who gives meaning to life. Life without Christ is empty, shallow, narrow and full of crisis. As a result of that emptiness, some people try to fill it up with other things, unfortunately, the more they try, the more emptiness they create.

Life in Christ is:

• Full of peace because he is the Prince of peace.
• Full of joy. Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
• Full of grace; grace is unmerited favour.
• Full of blessings because our Father is the inexhaustible source of all good and perfect gifts.
• Full of life and that life is “Zoe”, the very life of God.

That is why we need to embrace Christ. He is the ultimate game changer. There is no running away from the fact Jesus announced in John 10:10 that,

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” 

John 10:10, KJV

Jesus came to give us abundant life and to terminate every woe. Abundant life is only possible in Christ.
