2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (WHO SHALL ASCEND? VIII)

“A pure heart”. Herein lies the real problem. The heart! The heart is the engine room. Everything you do emanates from the heart. You cannot be a true worshipper if your heart is not right. A lot of people do not have a right heart; the right spirit. You can pray for twenty four hours with the best of English language but if the spirit is not right, your prayer cannot fly, you are just blowing hot air.

Nothing happens when the heart is not right. God is a Spirit and those that must worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Once there is perversion in the heart, forget it! All you have is idolatry. The devil knows this. Once there is iniquity in the heart, every prayer effort is wasted. It amounts to an exercise in futility.

Pray –

• Father, I present my heart before you. Please uproot every wicked seed planted in my heart that is capable of derailing your purpose for me. Remove every iniquity. Purify my heart. Make me holy, pure and acceptable in your sight in the name of Jesus.
• Destroy every doubt. Dismantle and destroy every evil seal of limitation placed in my heart.
• In the garden of my heart, Lord, remove every trace of bitterness, iniquity, impurity in the name of Jesus.
• In the garden of my heart, Lord, remove every guile in the name of Jesus. Remove every blockade of the heart in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Remove every trace of idolatry in the name of Jesus Christ.

“Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity”. This involves the vanities of this world, the realm of carnality. Whenever Solomon looked down under the sun, what he saw was vanity. Vanity of vanities is vanity (Ecc. 1:2). Vain glory! What are your idols? Whatever you place side by side God in your heart has become your god; not even what you elevate above God in your heart which is very easy. It is so easy to elevate your love for other things above your love for God in the garden of your heart. God picks it easily.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
