2024/2025 OPERATION 18-18 – (CONFRONTING THE SPIRIT OF BLASPHEMY V)

One of the marks of fallen man is blasphemy. He blasphemes with ease. Blasphemy is casting aspersions on a divine personality or divine authority. It is a very dangerous sin. The thing that promotes the mystery of blasphemy is arrogance which is propelled by pride. The seed of blasphemy is pride of revelation, pride of redemption and pride of satisfaction.

The Bible says, the fool sayeth in his heart, there is no God (Psalm 14:1). There are so many “foolish” people today that are referred to as celebrities, those who think they have arrived when they have not even started. They put their mouths into things they don’t understand. They are gods unto themselves always looking for people to worship them.

Ensure that you don’t violate Exodus 20:4,

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”

Exodus 20:4, KJV

In an atmosphere of idolatry where people worship nonsense, the only one that is deserving of our worship is Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the God that created all things, the God that spoke the world into existence, the omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient God. When people fail to grow in their walk with God, they go into syncretism.

Pray –

• Father, in your mercy, please help as many that have strayed and gone to the other side. Have mercy on them and bring them back. Deliver them from the wicked spirit that wants to destroy their destiny in the name of Jesus.
• Grant them the grace to return. Give them the humility to admit their errors, help them Lord, lead them, lift them in the name of Jesus.
• Do not allow their misdemeanor to be a seed that will produce bad harvest in their lives. We ask you, O God, to have mercy in the name of Jesus.
• Make your people to align with you and to learn and to grow and come up in the name of Jesus.
• Grant every one of us the grace to release the lower things of this world that we are still holding on to that are hindering us from smelling the glories of heaven in the name of Jesus.
