LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED II

If only the Church understands that you cannot transform the world by becoming one with it, that the only way you can transform the world is to come through the word of God. This is because the wisdom of the word of God transcends all wisdom. Those who reject it today will regret it tomorrow inevitably because it is truth. It does not need to make noise to be heard. It does not need to throw itself around in order to be relevant. It does not canvass for vote; it is so simple, so clear yet so consistent and transcends all.

From where is the wisdom of the word of God derived? It is from the most high who resides in the highest. The wisdom from above is the highest level of wisdom. In our simple decisions, we go to seek out the counsel of the ‘expert’. Every ‘expert’ at best is still operating in the realm of the intellect. The world is sick and seeking for help.

Thank God for science and technology but both of them are still very limited in solving the real problems of the world today. Sincere medical doctors will tell you that there are some very serious illnesses they cannot handle; all they do is to give palliative treatments and manage their patients to a peaceful death. That is the extent to which they can go. However, that climax that they can go is the starting point for the wisdom of God.

There is a God who can reverse every irreversible. There is a doctor that cannot fail. What God cannot fix, nobody can. Your life does not depend on anyone’s expert advice; your life is dependent on what God can do.

Whenever you take the Holy Communion, take it with the revelation that the very life of Christ terminates sickness.

“Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be like chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them … Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.”
Psalm 35:1-28, KJV

Take note that God is not magnified when the enemy is buffeting you or chasing you about. God is not glorified. Going forward, the enemy will never have an upper hand in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. God is glorified when you have great testimonies, when your evil pursuers are put to shame and put to where they rightly belong. God is glorified when you enforce the believers’ authority. God is glorified when you trample the adders and lions under your feet.

“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.”
Psalm 91:13, KJV
