LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED IV

Authority is delegated power. It was the exact mistake that Adam made in Eden, he ceded dominion to the snake and started going in the way of the snake; a little to the left and a little to the right. You cannot bend the truth; anytime you try to bend the truth, you will produce error. May your home not become a colony of snakes in the name of Jesus.

Any Church that is not growing in holiness, righteousness and wisdom of God is not ready to fulfil the purpose of God in this end time. This is the real growth, it is not in numbers. You can be growing in wealth but are you growing in the Lord?

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant”.
Psalm 35:27, KJV

God rejoices when his children prosper. God has pleasure in your prosperity. However, we must be careful not to prosper in the way of the world because the prosperity of fools shall destroy them (Prov. 1:32).

If the only reason why you go to Church is just to prosper financially, you will miss God. Your reason for going to Church should be because you love God and then prosperity will become an addendum. The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all the other things will be added. The scripture went further to say that your Father knows that you need those things (Matt. 6:33). If your heart is not panting after God, there is no how you can make heaven.

How then do you magnify God?

Take note that you cannot add anything to God; he is God by himself.

1. Fall in love with God.
If you love God, you have already settled half of the problem because the love of God will produce in you worship. It is not that some people don’t love God at all, they do but they love other things more. If you love God, you will always put him first in everything you do. His love will make you a true worshipper. True worship is being so fanatically in love with God that the ideal of substituting that love for anything else does not even remotely exist.

The Psalmist said, I was glad when they say unto me let us go into the house of the Lord (Psa. 122:1). In Psa. 27:4, David said, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Remember that David was already a king when he wrote this Psalm. “As the hart panteth for the water brooks, so panteth my soul for thee, O God” (Psa. 42:1). Those who are holding unto the lower things of this earth can never be true worshippers. It is so easy to be an idolater; idolatry is perversion of worship. Anywhere you find worship perverted, anywhere you find value perverted, idolatry is inevitable.
