LIVING IN THE POWER OF THE RISEN LORD VI

I want to live the rest of my life demonstrating the power of the risen Lord. That is how to be a Christian. Christianity is not a title. Man of God is not a title. Husband is not a title. It is call to duty. What you were should never define your future. The devil does not waste his bullets; wherever he notices a treasure, he goes to put pressure. Seven demons could not stop Mary Magdalene from fulfilling her destiny.

What separates Christianity from other faiths is that it is only Christianity that is a living faith, it is the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that established Christianity as the only living faith. One of the leaders of a particular faith at a point, said he did not know where he was going after death. How can you follow a leader that does not know the way? Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth and Life, no one cometh unto the Father but by me (John 14:6).

The so called traditionalists are the most foolish people in the universe. It does take a measure of foolishness to be an idolater. How can you go and carve an object, put things on it, kill a goat and pour the blood on it and then make it your god?

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

Psalm 14:1, KJV

The first sign that should follow believers is the ability to cast out devils? (Mark 16:17) Are you casting out devils? It is easy to preach. It is easy to teach but if you don’t have the fire of God’s presence, you cannot cast out demons. That is why a lot of pastors don’t venture into it. Every true child of God is a deliverance minister. There is power mighty in the blood of Jesus. There is power mighty in the name of Jesus.

Knowledge is crucial for anyone who wants to live in the power of the risen Lord. It is not by accident or by partial connection. If you don’t know why you believe in whom you believe and why you should continue to believe in what you believe, satan’s evangelists will catechize you and there are many of them all over the place. Knowledge is so important that it is mentioned several times in the Bible.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.”.

John 17:3, KJV

How can you do exploits if you don’t know God? Every exploit in life is a product of knowledge.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he (the antichrist) corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” 

Daniel 11:32, KJV

A lot of people avoid the first part of this scripture. If you want to be exploited, play down on knowledge.
