WHO SHALL ABIDE? VIII

3. “And speaketh the truth in his heart”. This is the climax. No ungodliness. No crookedness. Walk uprightly. Work righteousness and let there be truth in the garden of your heart. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. There must be no trace of lie in you, no lying spirit because wherever you find a lying spirit, there is distortion. That person has already collected one of the seven seals of Lucifer. You don’t speak truth because it is convenient, you speak truth because it is the nature of God; it is part and parcel of you. Pray –

Father, empower everyone of us to live uprightly and work righteousness and for the rest of our lives, speak truth, live the life of truth.

Grant that the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, will be established in the garden of our hearts, that we will not tell lies, we will not live a lie. Grant that we will hate lying with passion in the name of Jesus Christ. Do it for us, O God, in the name of Jesus.

Nothing annoys me like when people try to judge me by the iniquity in their heart, by the crookedness in their heart, by the lying demons that they are carrying in their hearts. You can imagine how God feels. This is one of the reasons why Jesus was very angry with the Pharisees, he called them names. They missed out because every liar is an ultimate loser.

If you want to see the anointing, pursue practical demonstrable righteousness. Your heart must pant after God. Secondly, you must live uprightly. Thirdly, you must have the spirit of truth in your heart. Thou lovest righteousness and hatest iniquity therefore the Lord thy God has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. If you have any trace of prevarication in your heart, check it. The way of the snake must be completely destroyed for the Holy Spirit to take over.

Pray –

• Father, help me to straighten up. Help me to walk uprightly for the rest of my life. Help me to walk in righteousness. Help me to work righteousness and to speak the truth in my heart in the name of Jesus.
• Let the spirit of truth take possession of my heart, complete possession of my heart in Jesus name. Spirit of truth, take possession of the heart of everyone associated with this ministry in Jesus name.
