The word for today

God does not bless anything that is out of order, God is orderly; heaven is orderly. You might need to rebuild some bridges in your life and one of such bridges is the bridge of honor. Make a list of people you ought to have honored but didn’t. For instance, your parents. Agree with God that He didn’t make any mistake in blessing you with your parents. Celebrate them while they are still alive. The best thing you can do is to agree with God – when you do, you are recognizing His sovereignty; you are acknowledging that He is wiser than you. Before disobedience, there is pride and every manifestation of pride is a demonstration of deep seated ignorance. God treats disobedience the way He treats rebellion. Disobedience is rebellion and rebellion is equal to witchcraft. Why does God resist the proud? Because pride is idolatry of self. Go and rebuild the bridge of honor.

You must dethrone self. Until you dethrone self you cannot amount to anything in God’s kingdom. Anyone who enthrones self has positioned himself to lose because self seekers are great losers. Make up your mind to enthrone God. Enthroning God means ‘am not the boss, am ready to walk with You, what you say is what I will do’. Resolve to walk with God according to His terms and not according to your terms.

You need to know who you are and what you have in Christ. God’s word is a burning word, only burning vessels will move the word.

God will demonstrate His power in Nigeria this year; He will demonstrate His power in the world.

Don’t be a lukewarm Christian this year, go all out to align yourself with God. Be an enforcer of righteousness.

Prayers 

Read Joel 2:17, vs 28-30.

1. Heavenly Father, pour Your Spirit upon Holy Ghost Fellowship in an unprecedented manner this year in Jesus Name. Let the Holy Spirit literally take over our meetings this year; let there be incredible signs and wonders. Let every stubborn situation receive instant solution in the name of Jesus. Take absolute control of all that concerns us and give us resounding victories over the forces that have conspired to work against Your purpose and let Your Name be magnified in the mighty name of Jesus. 
2. Heavenly Father, let there be massive conversion of souls this year, arrest those that the devil is using to fight your Church in this nation in the name of Jesus. Demonstrate Your power in an unprecedented measure this year in Jesus Name. 
3. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I  come against you spirits of jealousy, competition, strife, and confusion working in the Church. I bond you today, I cast you into the abyss. I destroy your works and terminate your operations. I raise the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth against you, thus far you come, you go no further in Jesus Name. You will never operate again in the Church of Jesus. Amen. 
4. Lord, release the Spirit of true unity upon all the Churches in the name of Jesus. Let Your Spirit move and let Your Church be united in doing and fulfilling Your purpose in Jesus Name. 
5. Heavenly Father, pour Your Spirit upon our children, build Your special hedge of fire over them. Make them untouchable, unreachable, indestructible by the powers of darkness. Make it impossible for them to be initiated by agents of darkness in the name of Jesus.  Father, let every tongue rising against them be silenced forever, let every evil hand stretched against them wither and let every instrument of bewitchment set up against them destroyed in the name of Jesus. 
6. Heavenly Father, let Your word come forth from every pulpit this year like fire piercing into the depth of the spirit of those who attend the meetings and let them be empowered and sent forth to take their cities for Christ in the mighty name of Jesus. 
7. I raise the blood of Jesus Christ against you spirits of religion and deception. I bind you today and cast you into the abyss, I destroy your works and forbid your operations. You will not operate in my life, you will not operate in the Church of Jesus Christ this year in Jesus Name. 
8. Release those bound by the spirit of religion to begin to fulfill the purpose of God in Jesus Name. 
9. Father, let every barrier derailing the move of Your Spirit in Nigeria be demolished in Jesus Name. Break every denominational barrier, break ethnic barrier and the barrier of idolatry in this nation. Let them be dismantled and destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. 
10. Study 1 John 2:20 – Holy Spirit, I commit the days, weeks, and months ahead into Your hands; I need Your unction to function. I do not want to run on empty tank, please fill me to overflowing dimension, grant that out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water. This year, Holy Spirit, fill me and send me out as Your own. Anoint me and let Your oil flow every where I go,  let Your glory be revealed, let Your Name be glorified in Jesus Name. Demonstrate your power, demonstrate Your glory and wisdom through me this year in Jesus Name.  Every decision I will take this year, please guide me, shield me from making wrong decisions, I depend on You. Through You, I shall do valiantly. Thank You Holy Spirit, I receive Your unction to function in the highest in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN!
