DOMINION OVER DARKNESS (PART XV) CONFRONTING WITCHCRAFT (PART 3)HOW TO BREAK THE POWER OF WITCHCRAFT OVER YOUR LIFE

3. Rejoice in the victory of Christ at Calvary over satan and evil spirits. You need to learn how to celebrate the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ. You must not stop at just celebrating but you must also be appropriating the victory of the cross of Christ to yourself. Let that victory become your victory. How do you do this? Magnify Jesus, sing praises to him, and let your life reflect Jesus not only in praises and singing but also in your life style. Are you truly in love with him? Fall in love with Jesus. Christian maturity is falling in love over and over again with Christ. “For in him we live, and move and have our being …” (Acts 17:28^A). Col. 3:3 says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God”. Gal. 2:20 says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”. This is the crucified life. Without crucifixion, there cannot be resurrection.                                               

Many people want to experience the resurrection power without going to the cross. Go to the cross! Jesus said if you want to be his disciple, you must take up your cross daily and follow him. Luke 9:23 “And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me”. Apostle Paul understood this when he said, “I die daily” 1 Cor. 15:31^B. It is at the cross that Mr Self is crucified so that the power of God, the Almighty, will be released. The only people God cannot use are those who are full of self. The Bible says, “He must increase, but I must decrease” John 3:30. One of the things I find very common today is the projection of self above the Rock. There is great danger in this. There is absolutely no wisdom in projecting what you should be hiding. One of the symptoms of darkness is that when people are in the dark, they unwittingly give unnecessary information to their enemy.  

This is now done mostly through the social media. You must never project yourself above the Rock. The Dove must learn to dwell in the secret places of the stairs in the clefts of the Rock so that anything that strikes at you will hit the Rock. Rocks are not meant to bleed. That is where you are guaranteed safety. The cleft is where the blood of Jesus flows. The blood of Jesus is the blood of comprehensive dominion over darkness; learn to align. Don’t jump. Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Read John 12:3-33. Rom. 6:20 says, “And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen”. Learn to celebrate Jesus. In heaven, he won the battle, on the cross, he won the battle, in the grave, he won the battle, through him, we shall do valiantly, through him, we are more than conquerors. 1 Cor. 2:6 “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world, that come to nought”. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. your resisting the devil must be preceded by submission. Don’t resist the devil before submitting to God. If you fight witches while you are in rebellion, they will summon you to their coven and deal mercilessly with you. What they usually do is to plant an evil seed in the body of their victim and it is this seed that gives them unlimited access into the life of the person. Don’t rush. A lot of people rush into spiritual warfare unprepared. You must be properly consecrated if you don’t want to be a casualty. If you have about one hour to do spiritual warfare, please spend about forty-five minutes on consecration and worship. Many people ignore this and jump into binding and loosing. This, however, is the real thing .                                               .4.  Meditate on Psalm 110 verse 1, “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool”. Meditate and memorize the entire Psalm. It is all about the Lord. Learn how to provoke the Lord to fight your battles for you. Learn to provoke God into your battle. But the starting point is comprehensive consecration. Matt. 28:18 says, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”. Why? This is because he fought and won; he fulfilled his ministry. All power whether on earth, in heaven or underneath the earth bow before Jesus.
