Who Shall Ascend?

Text: Psa. 24:1-6 – “The earth is the LORD’S … Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully …”

There is an anointing that you need to contact in order to ascend.  The key lies in the above scripture. The first thing you need to understand is that it is not everybody that will ascend. Secondly, there are conditions for ascending and it is only those who fulfil such conditions that will ascend. Who will ascend?

1. You must come with clean hands. Are your hands clean? Hand represents what you do. Look inwards, in the last 365 days, can you confidently say that your hands are clean? Have you been involved in dirty transactions or shady deals? Have you offered or taken bribe? Have you stolen in any form? Have you oppressed? Pray – Lord, I stretch my hands to you, in any way that my hands are defiled, please forgive me and cleanse me from any form of defilement with the precious blood of your dear Son, Jesus Christ. O God, I make a connection to you, in any way that I have been entangled in any evil transaction that is spiriting money away from me, please intervene and arrest the evil spirits that are spiriting money away from me in the name of Jesus. Lord, any evil money on assignment against my life and business, let it catch fire right now and burn to ashes. Let any evil altar raised against my business or finances be utterly destroyed by the thunder of your power in the mighty name of Jesus. For some people, the problem is from an evil handshake. Evil handshake means evil covenants or evil agreements. It is very easy to enter into evil agreements and many people enter into it unknowingly – these are hidden covenants. A covenant is an agreement that is binding between two or more parties. Some evil covenants can result in evil family patterns; what affects one member of the family affects all the others. Some people even sign away very important things in their dreams. Pray – Lord, deliver my hands from any evil plantation in the name of Jesus. Any evil covenant that is affecting my life, today, Father in the name of Jesus, I renounce it and ask you to break that evil transaction. In any way that I have raised my hand and said yes where I should have said no, Lord, break that evil covenant in the name of Jesus. Any evil covenant that I entered into or that was entered into on my behalf by whosoever at whatsoever time or even before I was conceived in my Mother’s womb that is affecting my life, Lord, let it break right now and let the demons enforcing any evil transaction in my life go into captivity in Jesus name. Any coven of darkness that is behind any issue affecting my life, any evil summon, any demonic altar wherein I have ever been summoned to, anywhere my destiny is tied or manipulated, Lord, let the thunder of your power locate them and utterly dismantle and destroy them, Lord, render them inoperable in the name of Jesus. Let your angels be released with flaming swords in their hands to utterly destroy any evil altar militating against my blessings or against my progress in the name of Jesus. I use the name of Jesus to cancel every evil dream transaction that I have ever had, cease to operate in Jesus name. I declare my comprehensive dominion over evil dream transactions in Jesus name. In the realm of the spirit, the hands of so many people are tied and that is the reason why their businesses are not doing well. One of the reasons why people suffer is because they have eaten their seed. Whenever God asks you to plant a seed, please obey promptly. Pray – Lord, where I have eaten my seed, please forgive me and give me another opportunity, grant me the heart of obedience. Show me where I missed it, show me where I have eaten the seed that I should have planted to schedule seasons of harvest and help me never to eat my seed again. Help me to understand the mystery of seed time and harvest. Thank you blessed Lord, in Jesus name.
2. You must come with a pure heart. The heart is the engine room that manufactures blessings. You cannot walk with God with an impure heart. Purity is power. One of the most powerful prayers of repentance you can find in the Bible is Psa. 139:23-24, Pray – “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting in Jesus name.” Lord, search my heart and remove everything that is impure, let the precious blood of your dear Son, Jesus Christ, flow into the innermost recesses of my heart and remove every trace of impurity. Anything that is capable of blocking your flow, your miracle, light, power and glory in my life, Lord, roll it away, let it dissolve and disappear. Lord, give me a perfect heart, bless me with a perfect heart all the days of my life in Jesus name. Learn to connect to God, there is absolutely nothing that your partnership with the Holy Spirit cannot do. It is not by your strength or power. Before things can change for the better in your life, you need to change your spiritual climate. It is only in God and by divine intervention that you can have comprehensive success. Pray – Lord, any evil spiritual climate that is attached to my life, please change it today with the precious blood of your dear Son, Jesus Christ. Transform my spiritual climate so that I may begin to excel and walk in sweatless victories in Jesus name.
3. “Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity”. There is scarcely anyone who has not done this especially if you are an African. The Lord said he has given you gold to build his temple but you have made it a god. Covetousness is idolatry; the only thing we are permitted to covet is spiritual gifts. Have you ever elevated your career or any other thing above God in your heart? It is very easy to veer into idolatry. Idolatry is a vertical sin,  run away from it. Modern day idolatry is so easy to practice; for some the love of money is the beginning of wisdom but the truth is that the love of money is the root of all evil.
4. “Nor sworn deceitfully.” Mind your tongue. Look back into your life, in the last 365 days, how many lies did you tell? The bible says any one that lies is of the devil because the devil is the father of lies. Some people lie so easily that it has become part of their nature. Pray – Lord, please x-ray my life, I am sorry for any wrong use of my tongue, please have mercy on me and forgive me. Cleanse my tongue with the precious blood of your dear Son Jesus Christ and help me, O God, never to swear deceitfully or make pronouncements that are not consistent with your will in the name of Jesus.
5. “He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. It is only those who ascend that will receive the blessings of the Lord.

Where is this mountain/hill of the Lord?  Heb. 12:22-24, “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem … to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” This is where we are going, the headquarters of light, and it is from there that we should operate. When we operate from there, miracles will not only follow us but we will become miracle producers; generating miracles everywhere we go.

As we fast, we will ascend to receive the blessings of the Lord and righteousness from the God of our salvation and we will not miss it in the name of Jesus.

• Lord, I want to operate from the headquarters of light, please Lord, take me there in the name of Jesus.
• I ascend, my place is above only. Thank you, Lord, for better things (begin to call forth the better things you want to see) in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
