OPERATION 18:18

CELEBRATING JESUS CHRIST

If you remove Christ from Christian you will be left with I A N. A man of God once said what ‘I A N’ represents is ‘I Am Nothing’.  Celebrating Christmas without Christ is celebrating superfluity of naughtiness. And that is what the world likes. The world likes celebration. They celebrate the day. But the best thing anybody can do is to celebrate the person, celebrating the essence, celebrating the substance, celebrating what Christ represents. To be able to do that, you need to understand who Christ really is. Who Christ is to you personally. We are going to look at several revelations of Christ in the bible and we will pray that Jesus will reveal himself to us.

Jeremiah 31:33. God says ‘I will be their God, and they shall be my people’. Many people don’t have the revelation of Jesus as God. The bible says ‘I and my father are one’. Jesus is the express image of his father. The revelation of Jesus Christ the eternal son of the Most-High God as God, as the fulfilment of the law, as the resident God in our hearts. It is when people don’t have this revelation that they go looking for God that was not missing. It will change a lot of things for you if you catch this revelation. You will no longer be visitation minded, you will become habitation minded. There is a difference between someone who is habitation minded and one who is visitation minded.

The Revelation of Jesus as King. The one who is the King. God to worship, God to serve, God to Reverence, God to adore. The one who calls the shots. ‘They will be my people and I will be their God’, that is the purpose of God. We need to come to that realization before we can celebrate him.

Pray: Jesus reveal yourself to me, I want to have a personal revelation of you as my King, as my lord, as my God . Let every evil veil that has blocked this revelation in my life dissolve and disappear. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ as Mediator. Heb. 12:24. If you don’t have the revelation of Jesus Christ as your mediator, you will be looking for who to mediate for you. That is why some people pray through one saint or the other. But it is written that there is only one mediator between God and man, and he is Jesus Christ. He is the go-between between us and the Father, he is the fulfilment of the law, the incarnate word of God. He is the mediator of the new covenant and this new covenant is superior to any other covenant that you can ever have. Some problems that are lingering in the lives of people are problems that have to deal with covenants. So if we have the revelation of Jesus Christ as the mediator of the new covenant which is superior to any other covenant that can hold us down, all the other inferior covenants will be nullified.

Pray: Jesus reveal yourself to me personally as my mediator between me and God. Reveal yourself to me personally as my mediator of the new covenant and let every inferior covenant currently affecting my life be nullified. Thank you Jesus, I enthrone you as my mediator.  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ as our Advocate. Heb. 7:25. This is a revelation that we need to have, that in the court room of God, Jesus is our advocate. So that anytime the enemy comes to lay accusations, Jesus intercedes on our behalf and neutralizes the voices of accusations being leveled against us in the court of God.

Pray: Jesus, I celebrate you as my advocate. I thank you because you are advocating for me in the court room of God. On a daily basis, you are interceding for me. Thank you for your generous intercession, thank you for your effective intercession, thank you for your powerful intercession, thank you Jesus. I enthrone you, and I celebrate you. Thank you faithful Jesus,  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus as Our Redeemer. Galatians 3:13. The word redemption is very powerful.  It means ‘to be repurchased, bought back from the slave market.’ He took us out of the slave market and set us free. We are no longer strangers, we are no longer foreigners. We are fellow citizens with the saints and of the house hold of God. He redeemed us from all the curses of the law. Jesus has paid the price for us to be liberated.

Pray: Jesus, I celebrate you as my redeemer, I thank you for going to the cross for me, thank you for paying the complete price for my total redemption. Thank you for setting me free. I belong to you forever, thank you Jesus,  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus as our Justification.  Romans 4:5. When Jesus forgives us and cleanses us in the court room of God, we are free from any filth, we are justified, as if we have never sinned before.

Pray: Jesus I celebrate you, I enthrone you as my justification. I thank you, I am justified by your finished work on the cross at Calvary. Take all the glory,  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus as our Propitiation.  1 John 2:2. It is the blood of Jesus Christ that makes atonement for our sins. The blood of Jesus is the blood of propitiation. He shed his blood to take away our sins on a once and for all basis. The blood of animals covered sin, it did not remit sin. Jesus is our propitiation; the permanent and perfect sacrifice.

Pray: Father I thank you, for giving your son Jesus Christ as a comprehensive sacrifice. I enthrone and I celebrate Jesus as my comprehensive sacrifice, my propitiation, my atonement. Thank you Jesus for being my propitiation,  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ as the Judge.  2 Timothy 4:8. When all is said and done, Jesus is the one that will judge. And those who have done his bidding, he will reward  with crowns.

Pray: Lord Jesus, we enthrone you and we celebrate you as the righteous judge and we thank you. We bless and magnify your name, may your name be praised. Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus as the Repairer of the Breach.  Isaiah 58:12. He is the repairer of the breach between fallen man and God.

Pray: Jesus I love you, I celebrate you as the repairer of the breach. I celebrate you as the repairer of my life. I thank you Jesus. I bless and magnify you. Look into my life, and repair anywhere that needs to be repaired. I ask you to repair anything that the enemy has damaged in my life, in my home, in my body, in my soul, in my spirit. You are the perfect repairer of the breach. I thank you Jesus .Amen

The Revelation of Jesus as the Guarantor of a Better Covenant.  Hebrews 8:6, He has guaranteed that we will have a good deal. He has guaranteed that we will have a good life and that things will continue to get better for us as we continue to work with him. We need to have this revelation and celebrate this revelation to download the blessings.

Pray: Lord Jesus, we enthrone you and we celebrate you as the guarantor of a better covenant and we thank you. We bless and magnify your name, may your name be praised.  Amen.

The Revelation of Jesus as our Substitute.  Hebrews 9:28. Jesus is our substitute. We were supposed to die but he died for us. The custodian of life (Jesus) was sown as a seed that we may live. This revelation will give you dominion over death. He was also made poor that we may be rich. The blood of abundant life was shed on the cross and it broke the curse of suffering for us.

Pray:  Jesus I thank you for being my substitute. I substitute my weaknesses  for your strength, my poverty for you prosperity, my sicknesses for your health, my failures for your success, my follies for your wisdom……. Thank you so much Lord Jesus, I celebrate you. Amen

Celebrate Jesus!!!
