LET YOUR GLORY SHINE FORTH, O GOD

Worship is not just what you do but your lifestyle; worship is who you are. A worshipper is one who is so desperately in love with God that the idea of substituting that love for any other thing does not even remotely exist. When you get to this level, you will become heaven’s property, anything that touches you touches the apple of God’s eye; before you finish asking for anything, heaven will respond. There is no limit to the extent God can move in your life if you become a consecrated worshipper.

You need to understand that your greatest enemy is the enemy within. Anything that can defile your soul (and there are so many defiling influences in the world today), will prevent your prayer from being answered. The Bible states categorically in Psa. 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” Your relationship with God must add value, it must be progressive. That is the only way it makes sense. God is pained when you are not going in the right direction and it is in his love nature to correct the object of his love.

Psa. 25:10, “All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.” Many people understand God as the God of mercy only, it doesn’t matter what you do. If you know God only as the God of mercy, then you know him only fifty percent. This is where a lot of people miss it. Today, many preach grace as a licence to sin, grace is not a licence to sin. You don’t know God if you don’t know the God of truth; there is the mercy side of God as well as the truth side. The mercy side is the horizontal side – that is how He relates with man but there is the truth side which is the vertical side. This gives you a perfect cross.

The mercy side of God pardons sin but the truth side of God hates, judges and punishes sin. Many Pastors today avoid talking about sin because they don’t want to be labelled judgmental. They leave sin alone as if it ceases to exist because they fail to talk about it. When you add mercy to truth, you will have love and wherever you have love minus truth, what you have is crisis, corruption, perversion and destruction. Many parents have missed it with their children because of this wrong interpretation of love. True love hates and punishes sin. Why does God punish sin? It is because of his love; sin does not diminish God but sin diminishes the object of God’s love. God loves you so much he knows that the moment you frolic with sin, you will end up in the wrong place, that is why he corrects those he loves. Don’t sit under the ministry of any Pastor that cannot correct you; he is not qualified to be your Pastor. This is because part of our mandate is to correct, rebuke, reprove and exhort. Many Pastors today only know how to dish out motivational messages. God does not show mercy to anybody who is justifying his or her sin. His covenant – the revealed will of God which is the incarnate Word – is Jesus. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. If you remove truth, then you don’t know Jesus. Many people go through the ritual of fasting but they are not ready to shift in their ways, they are not ready to be corrected by the Word yet they want to be transformed. They don’t really know God. Your fasting does not move God, what moves God is your obedience.

How does mercy move? No matter the extent, volume or magnitude of your sin, no matter the gravity, once you come to God to confess and repent, the mercy anointing will flow but as long as you continue to rationalize sin, every step will take you farther away from mercy. Working in deliverance ministry has taught me very deep things about the spiritual implications of things. The Bible states that whoever covers his sin shall not prosper. What are the lower things that you are still holding on to? Remember that sin is missing God’s mark; it is a violation of the covenant – the covenant of God is the word of God.

If you want your legislations to be established, you have to clean up. 1 John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” If, however, you hold on to you sins, your heavens will remain blocked.

Pray – Lord, please search me, I don’t want to be hypocritical in the place of prayer, I don’t want to be a covenant breaker, I don’t want my heaven to be blocked, I want my prayer to fly and I want to have a consolidated relationship with you. I ask you right now, O God, in your mercy to look into my life, anywhere that I have missed it, please forgive me. Anywhere there is iniquity in my heart, please forgive me and roll it away. I am sorry for rationalizing my faults, errors and transgressions, I am sorry for resisting correction, in your mercy, O God, forgive me, help me, uphold me and wipe away every record of transgression. In any way, Lord, that I have opened the gate for the enemy, I am sorry, today, have mercy on me in the name of Jesus.

Truth is a very vital force. Many people have issues with truth. Mark of the beast is not only a physical mark, it goes beyond that. Marks talk about character and one of the prominent characteristics of the beast is lying. John 8:44. No one carrying the mark of the beast will make heaven. Pray – Lord, cleanse my tongue, remove the propensity to tell lies from my tongue. I renounce, every lie that I have ever told or lived, I am sorry, please cleanse my tongue. Lord, I dedicate my tongue to you, cleanse my tongue with the blood of your dear Son, make my tongue wholesome, make my tongue pure. Grant that out of my belly shall constantly flow rivers of living water, let it purity my tongue and let it sanctify me. Thank you, Lord. As I pray, let my prayer be not hindered in Jesus name.

Psa. 94 is a very powerful Psalm of vengeance that is why your preparation must be sound. Pray – I plead the blood of Jesus over my life, over my will, emotion, hands, tongue, home, over every member of my family and over the records of my life. Lord, I thank you for the potency of the blood of your Son, blessed be your name, in Jesus name.

Verse 1 says, O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.” In other words, manifest yourself. There are things in your life that God needs to terminate on a once and for all basis, there are things working in vicious cycle in your family that must give. It was the manifestation of God as the man of war in Egypt that terminated 430 years of slavery of the children of Israel. The best way to close the year is to close it on a note of resounding victory while the best way to begin the year is to begin it on a note of divine empowerment which is the greatest empowerment you can get.

Pray – Lord, I thank you because you have a wonderful blueprint for my life, you have a wonderful design, plan and purpose for my life, thank you because no good thing will you withhold from those who walk uprightly in the name of Jesus. I rededicate my life to you and I declare that I belong to you. I declare that my body belongs to you, my soul, spirit, destiny belong to you. O God, manifest your glorious power in my life, terminate every bondage of captivity, undo everything the enemy has every done, break every chain of captivity, undo everything the enemy has ever done, shatter every fetter, destroy every padlock, paralyze every evil hand, blind every evil eye. Lord, whatever the enemy has ever done in my life, let it be undone by the power of your manifestation. Anything the enemy has used to mock your image and glory in my life, Lord, show forth your power, stretch forth your hand, terminate every woe, break every curse, break every evil covenant, dismantle and destroy every satanic network, destroy every evil plantation in the name of Jesus. Lord, let your manifestation terminate every work of the adversary in my life, terminate every barrenness in my life, terminate every sickness in my life, undo everything the enemy has done, roll away every embargo and silence the voice of the adversary in the name of Jesus.

1 John 3:8, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.” The first part of this scripture is as important as the second part, take note of that.

Pray – Lord, I thank you because you are my ever present help in time of need, I ask that you look into my life and intervene, help me, lift me, empower me by your spirit, deliver me from the pit in which is no water, deliver me from dryness. I receive your abundance. Terminate every woe, roll away every blockade and let your glory shine forth through me in Jesus name.

The greatest display of grace is the cross of Christ. God hates sin so much that he had to allow his Son to die on the cross. How does the devil work? Through sin. Sin is missing the mark. The devil cannot attack you until he gets you to commit sin.

• Lord, help me to know you more and to work with you. Let my desire forever be to love you; to hate what you hate and to love what you love and as I do, magnify your name, work out your plans for my destiny, show me your mercy and your love and your kindness and your goodness. I thank you because it is written that you will not withhold any good thing from me if I walk uprightly, help me to walk uprightly, in Jesus name.
• I use all the power in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to overwhelm any dark power that is trying to attack me or my family, my finances, my ministry or my destiny. Be overwhelmed by the power of the almighty right now in the name of Jesus.
• Let perpetual desolation be against all the collaborating evil forces working against me. Let the network of evil forces working against my family or Holy Ghost Fellowship International be utterly destroyed by the power of the Almighty. They will never be able to operate or reconvene in the name of Jesus.
• In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, let every instrument of bewitchment set in motion against me, or against my family or against my ministry, or against my business be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus.
• Father, arise and terminate everything the enemy has programmed to work against your purpose for my life in Jesus name. Amen.
