COVENANT OF DIVINE FAVOUR

It is a deep revelation to dwell in the clefts of the rock in the secret places of the stairs. A lot of people are too loud. The world today wants to exhibit everything particularly in the social media. It is understandable when the world does it but it becomes a source of concern when Christians indulge in it. We are too exhibitionist, meanwhile the dove is supposed to dwell in the rock; in the secret places of the stairs. There, you use the stairs to climb and make progress. Jesus is that Rock. What does the cleft connote? The cleft is everywhere that Jesus’ body was perforated and that is where the blood of Jesus flows from. The blood of Jesus does the work of cleansing on a daily basis and that is why the dove is growing in stature, growing in sanctification and growing in the real sense of growth.

You can never grow above your vision. The model you operate matters a lot; your model is based on the revelation you have. Some people operate models of family finance that God cannot bless. God cannot bless anything that is out of order. There is order, even in creation. Heaven is orderly. What model are you operating? You make progress in the clefts of the rock, there is adequate provision for you there. Be careful about exhibitionism. A lot of people have paid dearly for it. Pray – God, please help me to operate the model that you will bless; the model that will enhance my progress, the model that will enhance my protection, my elevation and my perfection. In any way, Lord that I have operated a wrong model, I want to change, please help me and grant me the grace to change and make amends and to be where you want me to be and do exactly what you want me to do. Help me, Lord, to operate in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, thank you Lord, in Jesus name.

Unfortunately, most Churches today are busy raising the eagle/lion model. This is a very dangerous model that will enable you to make progress only on this earth. You cannot operate a wrong model here on earth and end up in heaven. A combination of lion and eagle is equal to Babylon. Pray – Lord, please, help me to imbibe your nature. Establish me in holiness, in righteousness and in wisdom. Help me, Lord, to hate what you hate and to love what you love and to be what you want me to be and to walk with you in the name of Jesus.

Gen. 18:3, “And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant.” This was Abraham talking to the angels that paid him a visit. What is favour? There are different definitions one of which says favour is approval, support, liking for someone or somebody; act of kindness beyond what is due. If it is what is due, then it will be a reward– one good turn deserves another. But the act of kindness or goodness towards somebody that is beyond what is usual or what that person is due is favour. Nobody really earns it. Divine favour is not a reward but something done by the sovereign will of God.

One of the people God favoured in the Bible is Abraham. God, out of his sovereign will decided to call Abraham out of his idolatrous background to favour him. Another person that was highly favoured is Mary. Mary was not the only virgin in Israel. God needed a womb to biologically birth his Son and he decided to choose her. You need to be very careful not to block the favour of God because when you do, it stays blocked. Sometimes when God wants to favour you, he moves the heart of somebody to bless you. Favour can break through any barrier set before you. God used the Egyptians to bless the children of Israel abundantly; he never came down to do it. May you have encounter with favour in Jesus name.

Your attitudes are your evaluative statements, make sure that they are in line with the word of God otherwise you will miss out. Abraham never had an inkling that his visitors were angels yet he was courteous and hospitable to them. The Shunammite woman decided to prepare a place for Elisha without expecting anything in return, however, her compassionate character and hospitable disposition connected her to favour that brought her an unexpected miracle. Favour can be activated. One of the ways God favours his children is by connecting them to real men of God.

Exo. 11:3, “And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.” One encounter with favour is worth more than 430 years of labour; it is not by strength or might. You need divine augmentation. In Holy Ghost Fellowship International, testimonies abound of people that God connected to favour and they all experienced wonderful turnarounds and visible transformations to the glory of God. Pray – God, baptize me with favour in the name of Jesus. May favour smile on you this year in the name of Jesus. When you are in your season of favour, doors will begin to swing open on their own accord. God will move the heart of people to favour you in Jesus name.

Exo. 12:36, “And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.” In one encounter with favour, the Egyptians that the children of Israel served for 430 years favoured them.

Psa. 5:12, “For thou Lord will bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” May you have encounter with favour this year in Jesus name, may you find favour and understanding in the sight of God and man in Jesus name.

Luke 2:51, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” There is growth in favour. Don’t be satisfied with the level of favour you experienced last year, you must increase in the anointing of favour. It is not enough to increase in stature, you must also grow spiritually. Jesus increased in stature, in favour and in wisdom. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. Jesus increased in his divine connection and that was why he found favour in the sight of God and man. May the Lord grant you multidimensional growth in Jesus name.

There are certain things you can do to activate the anointing of divine favour. This year, make heaven to smile at you. Dan. 12:3 says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” If you want to shine, turn many to righteousness. THERE IS NO ABUNDANT LIFE WITHOUT FRUIT BEARING. Win souls.

Mean business with God this year, be truthful and be fruitful and you will see heaven move on your behalf. Favour can be provoked. Solomon provoked favour through sacrificial giving. You are not ready to walk with God if you are not prepared to give sacrificially. Learn to give God your best; it is part of your worship. Stop giving God rejects. Anytime you appropriate the blood of Jesus, remember that the blood of Jesus speaks about extreme sacrifice. Give God something to multiply. If you sow nothing, you will reap nothing. Get aligned and have encounter with favour this year.

Pray – Heavenly Father, please help me to have a special encounter with favour this year in a spectacular way. Thank you, faithful God, in Jesus name. Amen.
