Make God Your Treasure

“Then you will delight yourself in the Lord, and look up to God.”

The secret of becoming a focus is to make God your focus. If you want your light to shine, make God your focus. If you want to see the glory of God, make God your focus. The Bible says,

“delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

Psalm. 37:4.

A lot of people have crowded their lives with so many things that there is no more space for God to operate. Some are full of self – self-seekers are great losers.

Verse 27 “You will pray to him, and he will hear you and you will fulfill all your promises to him.”

Job 22: 27 (The living Bible)

You must come to a point where your prayer will fly at the speed of your desire; a point where while you are still asking, the Lord will answer. Psa. 66:18 says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” The greatest iniquity of the heart is idolatry. Anything you place side by side God in your heart is your idol and idolatry is perversion of worship.

Pray – Lord help me to delight myself in you this year. Teach me to delight myself in you in the mighty name of Jesus. Grant that all my prayers will be answered this year and there will not be any unanswered prayer in my life in the name of Jesus. Help me and grant me the grace to fulfill all the vows and promises I have ever made to you in Jesus name.

“Whatever you wish will happen! And the light of heaven will shine upon the road ahead of you.”

Once you clear all the obstacles enumerated above, your miracle will happen at the speed of wish. The problem today is that many people rush into prayer with a lot of excess luggage, they come into the presence with the excess luggage. Throw away your idols; make the almighty your treasure.

Pray – Lord, this year, let my wishes be prayer answered in the mighty name of Jesus. As I draw closer to you this year, Lord grant that my wishes will become prayer answered in Jesus name. Let the light of heaven shine upon my path everywhere I go, let the light of heaven shine upon the road ahead of me, my destiny, my children and my family in Jesus name.

Many times, people jump these steps to go to the stage of decreeing, binding, pulling down strongholds and other spiritual gymnastics with iniquity in their heart. When you teach them spiritual warfare, they become vengeful and begin to make enemy out of everybody around them. As such, they become so enemy conscious that they begin to place too much value on what the enemy is doing than on God. That is why you need to make God your focus and the center of gravity of your heart. Make God your sun and your shield and he will give you grace and glory and no good thing will he withhold from you because you walk uprightly. The light of God will begin to shine in you and through you and you will become more fruitful, your life will become more impactful. This will make you fall in love over and over again with God.

Verse 29-30, “If you are attacked and knocked down, you will know that there is someone who will lift you up again. Yes, he will save the humble, and help even sinners by your pure hands.”

Because of your proper vertical connection, your life will begin to touch others positively; you will become a healing agent in a sick world, you will be fruitful, God will use you to eradicate pains and use you to bring solution to many. You will become a blessing. This will happen because you have made the Almighty your treasure.

Pray – Lord, you know the areas where I am still struggling, Lord, I need your help, I cease from struggling and I surrender to you and I ask you to guide me by the skillfulness of your hand till I become all you want me to be and accomplish all you want me to accomplish. I make you my treasure. Lord be my treasure all the days of my life. Let my life begin to get better and better in the name of Jesus. Let the remaining part of my life, be the most successful, the most blissful, the most blessed, the most impactful and the most fruitful in the name of Jesus. Thank you, dear heavenly father, I depend on you. Through you, I shall do valiantly. In you I live and move and have my being. Thank you, mighty God in Jesus name.

Prayer points

Heavenly Father, stretch forth your hand and shake the heavens and the earth and destroy anything satan and his agents have built to work against your purpose in my life in the name of Jesus.

Father, shake the chambers of the sun, the moon and stars and dismantle and utterly destroy everything the enemy has erected to work against your purpose for my life, for my family and for Holy Ghost Fellowship International.

Dismantle and destroy every instrument of bewitchment set in motion against me, let them be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus.

Let every weapon of the enemy be utterly destroyed in the name of Jesus. Anything the enemy has programmed against me, it shall not stand neither shall it come to pass.

Every enchantment of hell, every evil legislation shall not stand neither shall they come to pass.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord shall be praised in every facet of my life for God has spoken in his holiness, I will rejoice, in Jesus name. Amen.
