CELEBRATING THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT

• The Holy Spirit as a Person can be grieved. Eph. 4:30, “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Many people are bearing a contrary seal. A seal is a symbol of ownership. You need to be connected to a ministry where the fire is intense enough not only to expose who you are but must be able to remove any evil seal and replace it with the seal of the Holy Ghost. It is not automatic. Mind the people you tag along with. It is the seal you are bearing that will determine where you will end; it is the spirit that is guiding you that will guide you into your eternal home which is either in heaven or hell, there is no intermediary place. If you are not guided by the Holy Spirit, then you are being guided by a contrary spirit.
• The Holy Spirit as a Person, leads. Guiding is different from leading. Guiding is horizontal; side by side relationship but leading means you are behind while the leader is ahead. It is vertical. If you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you, he will lead you according to the revealed will of God for your life. That is the best thing that can happen to you. That is the true meaning of success. True success is not about accumulating, no, it is all about keeping divine schedule, being at the centre of God’s will for your life. It is ignorance that makes people pursue what will eventually kill them; if it stops at the level of killing, it would have been better, but they pursue what will eventually destroy them. Some even go to the extent of paying money to get it. When people are in the dark, they do a lot of stupid things and anyone who is not led by the Holy Spirit will be led astray. Everybody is being led by something. When the Holy Spirit is leading you, people might misunderstand you but you must be undaunted. Rom. 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Why? Because the Holy Spirit is the spirit of our adoption. If you are not endorsed by the Holy Spirit, if you are not bearing the seal of the Holy Spirit, he cannot lead you. It is the spirit that leads you that will determine where you will end; you will end in the house of the one who owns you. If you are not spiritual, you are most likely to choose by sight.
• The Holy Spirit as a Person, counsels. Isa. 11:2, “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.” I have seen great transformation take place in the lives of people because of good counsel that they received. There was a particular family who lost their Father and before long, all the children went into depression. Financially, things were very bad because the income level was too little to sustain the family; the first daughter in particular was so devastated. However, after a counselling session with her, there was a great turn around in their situation because she harkened unto the counsel. She was able to secure a fantastic job that lifted the entire family. John 14:26, “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit is also a teacher; there is no better coach than the Holy Spirit. Pray – Father, in the name of Jesus, I yield my life to you, please x-ray my life, is there any way that I am carrying a strange seal, I ask you, O God, in the name of Jesus, to remove every strange seal that I am carrying in the name of Jesus. Let your power undo every strange seal that I have carried, let the blood of Jesus wipe away every strange seal and place the everlasting seal of the Holy Ghost, the everlasting seal of adoption in your household, upon my life. Thank you, precious Holy Spirit. I put my hand in your hand and I ask you to guide me, I ask you to be my counsellor, I ask you to be my teacher. I ask you to empower me, grant me the grace to yield to your counsel, grant me the grace to yield to your leading, grant me the grace to yield to your guidance, in the name of Jesus. I yield my will to you, Holy Spirit, take over my will and be my guide, be my shield, be my comforter and be my counsellor. Thank you, precious Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
