BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 12C) – CONFRONTING THE SEVEN SEALS OF LUCIFER

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. It is not every one that merits grace; God does not throw his grace at the proud. Whoever is prideful is positioning him or herself against the Most High. Unfortunately, it is a very cheap sin; you need to work on yourself in order not to develop it. How do you react to issues? Do you always place yourself first before any other person? Do you always want to take the glory that is meant for God? Pride is of the devil, it is part of his nature and one of his seals. Pride is a spirit that originates from the waters, from the spirit of leviathan. Job 41:34 says, “He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.” For a better understanding of this, you need to read the entire chapter. This is a typical description of satan. Leviathan is the king of all the children of pride and I have seen it manifest in the ministry of deliverance. When you confront those who carry this spirit during deliverance sessions, you will see them manifest it physically; they carry their head up while twisting their nose in a very disdainful manner when you try to cast out the spirit. It is real. You must resist it from your heart. So many issues are driven by pride; a lot of issues in the world today would have been resolved but for pride. In marriages, the prideful find it difficult to say “I am sorry” even when it is obvious that that is the right thing to do. Pride is a very toxic spiritual attitude that destroys and short circuits the flow of grace. The only person that God cannot help is one who is full of self. The devil knows this and that is why he gets people to be prideful – “I”, “me”, “myself”, “my own” and so on. If you notice that you are getting into self projection, watch it, it might as well be that you have collected the seal of leviathan. It is very easy to collect this seal. One of the greatest contaminating influences in the world today is the water gate; this is where a lot of evil spirits operate from in order to pollute humanity and one of the things they spread with ease is the seal of pride which they put on people. In a football match, eleven people work together to score a goal but when the ball is passed to the striker who manages to score a goal, he begins to jubilate as if his effort alone secured the goal for the team. Unfortunately, it manifests itself even in the Church. Some people refer to the Church of God as ‘my Church’, watch it! There are different manifestations of pride – there is the pride of grace, pride of face, pride of pace and pride of race and so on. Whatever you have is given to you by God, you are not the owner so why behave as if you are the giver? Pride of grace makes people who need help to project themselves as the helpers and not the ones to be helped.

PRAY:- Heavenly father I thank you for the many provisons you have made for my comprehensive deliverance. Through the precious blood of your dear Son – Jesus Christ, I overcome the spirit of leviatan and forbid his oppression in any area of my life. I declare that I belong to Jesus forever, I have a wonderful inheritance. I am blessed beyond curse in Jesus’ Name. Amen
