BLESSED BEYOND CURSE ( PART 14A) – THE SEAL OF MAN

We are blessed to be a peculiar people; we must put that in perspppective always. He is such a wonderful God, he has sort it out for us and made us his peculiar people and has put his seal upon us as a mark of ownership. God has put his branding upon us as a mark of ownership. He went ahead to put the Holy Spirit in our heart as a guarantee that we belong to him and as a first instalment of what he has in store for us. What else do we want? With such a fantastic blessing from God, our response should be that of worship, worthship and placement of value on our relationship with him. Our response should include the celebration of God’s goodness, of God’s love, faithfulness and mercy. His thoughts for us are thoughts of good and not evil to give us an expected end.

Since God himself has put his branding upon you, what other branding do you need? Today, unfortunately, quite a number of people use their money to go and get other brands. Wherever you go there are many things that are vying to rebrand you. The battle of rebranding is a very fierce battle and the only way you can win it is in Christ. There are different types of seals; we have looked at the seal of God and the seal of Lucifer and will deal with the seal of man in this discourse.

1. The seal of Adam.

The number one seal that man collected was from Adam because Adam was the first man. It was an evil seal of disobedience as well as a seal of death. According to 1 Cor. 15:22, “Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, being members of his sinful race, and wherever there is sin, death results” (TLB). The good news, however, is that we are actually blessed beyond curse. The curse that Adam brought upon man as a result of disobedience has been remedied by the fullness of the obedience of God the Son who came to pay for the remission of our sins with his precious blood and who was complete in obedience, who submitted to the will of God to the point of going to the cross to die. He paid the ultimate price. This, we must treasure. And it is because of this that everyone who is connected with Christ will rise again; death is not the ultimate for someone who is connected to Christ, glory to God! We have a wonderful inheritance in this, we are blessed beyond curse.

PRAY:- Dear Heavenly Father I worship you. I thank you for the generous provisions you have made for my total liberation from the seal of Adam. I proclaim that through the death, burial and resurrection of your dear Son Jesus Christ, all my sins are forgiven, my name is written in the book of life. I have access to all the covenant rights, blessings and privileges. I have a wonderful inheritance in Christ Jesus. I am blessed beyond curse. Amen.
