BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 21T) – PRINCIPLES OF FINANCIAL PROSPERITY

There is no short cut. If you want to prosper God’s way, you just have to follow this principle. If you sow nothing, you will reap nothing. Understand that the law of sowing and reaping is not limited to money alone; you can sow other things. Prayer is a seed, if you increase your prayer quantum, you will definitely see the results. For a child of God this end time, there is no short cut to this scripture. Pray –
Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, in any way that I have been cheating myself in not sowing, I repent, help me henceforth in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to give generously and to sow in and out of season. I know that your word is true that as long as the earth remains, seed time and harvest shall not cease.

Lord, empower me, give me seed; you are the one who always gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, Lord, give me the seed to sow and grant me the grace to sow and keep on sowing that I may reap bountiful harvest in Jesus name. Amen.

Give cheerfully.
It is not just enough to give. If at the time you want to give, you start feeling pains within you, just drop the idea of giving because God does not really need it, you can as well use it for other things. God loves a cheerful giver. Whenever you wish to give, give cheerfully. God does not really need your money. Before you start giving make sure that you have a covenant with God. We are serving a covenant-keeping God. God is a covenant keeper.
a. Pay your tithe. Don’t join the league of those who are saying things they don’t understand concerning tithing. Tithe is not an Old Testament injunction; the word of God is eternal. The principle of tithing cuts across the scriptures from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek. Today, Jesus is our Melchizedek and it is to him that we pay tithe. If you desire to prosper, you should not treat this with levity.

There are some prayers that you don’t need to pray and there are some battles you need not fight if you cultivate the habit of paying tithe; all you need do is to remind God that you know that he is a covenant keeper. God, himself, is the One who will rebuke the devourer for your sake. Devourer manifests itself in several ways. Sometime last year, I received a phone call requesting that I pray for a woman in coma; this woman had been taken to expensive hospitals in the USA and UK and eventually she was brought back to Nigeria when her condition deteriorated. Her husband had spent well over half a million dollars for medical treatment. Sadly, few days after this call, the woman passed on. Sickness is a devourer. If you don’t want the devourer to operate in any area of your life, be consistent in paying your tithe. Unfortunately, a lot of Christians toy with this.
