BLESSED BEYOND CURSE (PART 21U) – PRINCIPLES OF FINANCIAL PROSPERITY

Give an offering. Don’t give God rejects. The type of offering you give to God speaks volume about the condition of your heart; it is also an indication of the value you place in your relationship with God.
Be Generous. Cultivate the habit of touching lives. One of my greatest desires is that God will bless this ministry to the extent that we can establish a foundation called Lift Foundation. The target is to lift people out of extreme poverty. Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Pray –

Lord, I stretch my hands to you, help me, make me a cheerful giver and may I never lack seed to sow in Jesus name.
Lord, increase my capacity for touching lives in the name of Jesus. Help me to be a hand lifter to those in need. Empower me O God. May I never lack. Thank you faithful God in Jesus name. Amen.

Keep some money aside for rainy day if you don’t want to be under financial pressure.
Prov. 6:6-11 says, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of sleep? Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: so shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.” There are so many lessons you can learn by being observant and having eyes for details. Learn to always put your eyes on the ball and also think down the line. That was the principle that Joseph practiced in Egypt the result of which the destinies of nations were preserved. People started trooping to Egypt for grains because of the wisdom of one man who had foresight and knew how to manage resources. Don’t be a consumer; it is very easy to turn your economy to the consumption mode just by taking one decision, of course the outcome will be catastrophic.

Prudence is one of the seven pillars of wisdom. Prudence will ensure that resources multiply in your hand. When others don’t have, you will be a lender. Prudence will enable you to make hay while the sun still shines. The Bible says “the night cometh, when no man can work” John 9B. What are you doing in the morning of your life? That is what will position you for the afternoon. What are you doing in the afternoon of your life? That is what positions you for the evening. Life is in phases and every phase requires strategic positioning. Don’t allow resources to fritter out of your hand, let them grow. You should get concerned if money is just dissolving in your hand. If money is not multiplying in your hand, it means you are lacking in wisdom.
