2019 OPERATION 18-18 (DAY 32) – YOU HAVE AN UNCTION! III

1 John 2:27; Colossians 1:25-27.
Christ in you the hope of glory. What a hidden mystery apostle Paul unraveled in this scripture. What do you do with a mystery? You guard it jealously, you treasure it. Christ in you, is the hope of glory. Anything that wants to come between your relationship with Jesus Christ is your greatest enemy. It wants to bring down your glory. Some people drop glory and go for glamour. They celebrate dust and I tell you it’s so easy. What is spiritual dust? Spiritual dust is lust. Lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life. They mind earthly things. How does apostle Paul describe them? He said that their glory is their shame who mind earthly things. Phil 3:19 (NIV). “Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things”.

One of the weaknesses of the modern Church is materialism. The Church has become too earth bound and people are compromising on daily basis, crucifying Jesus the second time so that their cathedral will be bigger, going for earthly honour and collecting heavenly dust. Pursuing superfluity of naughtiness (James 1:21) and expecting God’s blessing is a waste of effort. This will not be your pursuit this year. We will get our pursuit right this year.

PRAYER-

• Help me to walk hand in hand with you so that your purpose will be fulfilled in every facet of my life. Help me to treasure Christ in me who is the hope of glory. May I never live a compromised life in the name of Jesus. Make it impossible for me to crucify Christ, your son the second time in Jesus name.

• Lord this year, anytime you look down on me, may your face beam with smile, smile of endorsement, smile of satisfaction in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord in Jesus name. Amen.
