Jesus said, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 16:19). God has deposited power to make things better in us. But this power is delegated power.

Matt. 18:18-19, “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” We have authority. We’ve got the key. The word ‘bind’ means ‘to forbid’ and the word ‘loose’ means ‘to allow’. Whatever you forbid on earth is forbidden in heaven and whatever you allow on earth is allowed in heaven.

You can use this key to literally change everything in your life. Things are the way they are in your life because you have not put this key to use. Change does not come to those who just desire it, it comes to those who desire it and go out of their way to make it happen. The woman with the issue of blood desired healing and went out of her way; she pressed for it and got it. It is time for things to begin to move up in every area of your life. You will be better off for it. The powers that challenge your testimony will bow. Rise up in the early hours of the morning to challenge the powers mocking your Christianity – ‘I use the power in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to forbid your operation and I bind the spirits enforcing this nonsense, I terminate their operation in my life and in my family. From today, I decree the blessings of the Lord that make rich and do not add any sorrow’. Begin to decree things and heaven will back you up. But before this key can work for you, you must have the key of holiness and truth.

Psalm 51:6 says, “Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom”. The surest way to get nowhere is to tag along with people who are going nowhere. If you follow a leader who is not going to heaven, things will definitely not move up for you. It is not every anointing that you must submit to; some people are carrying a dangerous anointing. Anyone without the spirit of truth will end up in hell! You need to sit yourself down and ask, ‘do I really have the spirit of truth?’

A lot of people will come to Jesus on the last day to enumerate the things they did in his name but Jesus will say, I know you not, depart from me you workers of iniquity. You cannot bribe God with your actions that were built on rottenness. Without holiness no one can see God, you can’t even please him. Anything that is built on a lie does not have any future.
