BLESSED BEYOND CURSE 31F- THE HAND OF GOD
2. Add praise to your prayer. The reason why you need to add praise to your prayer is found in Psalm 22:3-5, “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.” When you add praise to your prayer, it gives your prayer another dimension. When you pray, God sends an angel but when you praise, God comes down because God inhabits the praises of His people. If you want to see the hand of God, add more praise to your prayer; if you are already praising, praise more and if you have not been praising, start now. Do you want to experience supernatural interventions as a result of the manifest presence of God? You need the hand of God and anywhere He manifests, He leaves you deposits. Praise to God added to your prayer will give quickening to all the hanging miracles. A lot of miracles have been released but they are still hanging, however, as you begin to praise, these miracles will drop and you will start experiencing victory after victories, testimony after testimonies. The glory of God will no longer be hidden, the light of God will drive away darkness, the hand of God will dispel every doubt and the cloud of doom and gloom will be gone forever. The presence of God will bring joy in its fullness in your life and you will rediscover the joy you lost many years back. Your joy is about to be restored not partially but in its fullness in Jesus name. You will wake up with new songs in Jesus name. When God begins to give you new songs, it is a confirmation of the victories he has won for you.
2 Chro. 20:20-22, “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for His mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”
The battle is the Lord’s. Many times, we take on too much when all we need do is to let God do it. How do you get God to intervene in your situation? The easiest way is praise.
