THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S IV

We have been given authority and if you fail to utilize this authority, you will be messed up. The Bible says, “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exaltedPsa. 12:8. Some ‘Herods’ must go for the word to grow! Until king Uzziah died, Isaiah could not see the Lord. Get angry in spirit. It is time for people around you to respect the God that you serve. Jesus has done all he needed to do and handed over power to us. What are we doing with it? We have the responsibility to exercise dominion over our environment failure of which the kingdom of darkness will take over. Spiritual authority is superior to any political authority. This earth is the Lord’s, the Church must repossess this earth for the Lord. Pastors are not supposed to relinquish their responsibility in order to pursue political power. During the battle of Rephidim, Moses was old but he stood and lifted up his hands. For as long as Moses hands were lifted, Joshua and his group would win but whenever his hands went down, the Amalekites won. Moses’ hands became tired so they had to put a large rock under Moses for him to sit on. Aaron and Hur had to support his hands on both side, they became his hand lifters. By so doing, Joshua and his team routed the enemy. That is exactly how it should be. There is division of labour. Pastors should mind their callings and leave politics to the politicians. If Moses had gone to the battle front with the army, Israel would have been defeated. It took the collaborative effort of three different groups of people (Moses, Aaron & Hur, and Joshua & his men) for Jehovah Nissi to manifest.

Pray –

  • Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the power and authority you have given me to tread upon serpents and scorpions. Thank you for giving me power over all the power of the enemy. I thank you because nothing shall by any means hurt me, nothing shall be any means hurt any member of my family. I thank you and I celebrate this power. I give you honour and glory. I appreciate you O God in Jesus name.
  • Grant me the grace never to compromise or lower your standard, and never to leave the assignment you have given me to pursue other things in Jesus name.

God expects us to use this authority to transform our environment. Deut. 12:1-3, “These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: and ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.” God expects you to be an observer and a doer all the days of your life. Henceforth, may your Christianity become an active Christianity in the mighty name of Jesus. What does God expect from you? “Ye shall utterly destroy” their altars. God expects his children to destroy evil altars. He expects his children to trample upon snakes and scorpions.
