How do you lift up your eyes?

2. Obedience.
This is very powerful. Your obedience must not be partial but complete. Partial obedience is partial disobedience and it is tantamount to disobedience. You must comply with the letter of the word of God and the Spirit of the word; that is, obedience to the word of God and the promptings of the Holy Spirit. It is absurd to try to be a Christian without being obedient. It is also very absurd to decide to look up without readiness to obey instructions that come from above. Are you prepared to be complete in obedience as you look up or you want to be selective in obedience? As you tune to the frequency of heaven, get ready to obey. There is no point embarking on a long fast without the intention to obey the One who is above only, the One who operates in the highest. Instructions are meant to be obeyed. The best instruction is heavenly instruction and every instruction God gives is for your benefit, for your betterment and for your ultimate good. In Hebrews 5:7^b, the Bible says, “And God heard his (Jesus’) prayers because of his strong desire to obey God at all times” (TLB). Develop a strong desire to obey God at all times and none of your prayers will be wasted anymore. May you imbibe a strong desire to obey God at all times as you set out to seek the face of God in prayer and fasting in the name of Jesus. Is there any aspect of the word of God where you are not fully aligned? Jesus said in John 14:23 says, “… If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” The implication of this is that you will become a mobile ark, a God man. God does not bless anything that is out of sync with his will; he does not bless anything that is out of order.

Pray –

• Heavenly Father, please help me to align with your will. Help me to celebrate your will and to recognize that our will is the best for me. Help me to be one hundred percent compliant to your revealed will – your word and the Holy Spirit.

• Guide me through the skillfulness of your hand to develop a strong desire to always obey you at all times in Jesus name.

Let the supernatural blessings of obedience increase and multiply in your life in Jesus name.
