Covenant of infinite grace
operation 18:18

2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 20E (COVENANT OF INFINITE GRACE)

Anytime, the word of God rebukes you, kneel down and cry to God. That was how we were brought up. We were not brought up to choose what we should listen to during services. There is no wisdom in that at all. It is the spirit of rebellion which the Bible calls witchcraft. Lack of understanding of the true meaning of grace makes people become proud. When King David was confronted with his sin by prophet Nathan, he broke down completely and composed Psa. 51. May the Lord give us such a spirit in the name of Jesus. You need not be perfect in order to be God’s favourite; all you need is the right heart, a humble heart, a heart that trembles at God’s word.

True grace is a teacher; it teaches us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust – lust for political power, lust for acclaim, lust for position and so on, we should live soberly – not loudly, righteously (Apostle Peter admonished us to live soberly because our adversary is prowling looking for whom to devour). To be overtly exposed beyond the rock is dangerous. It is to be vulnerable to satanic attacks. But when you are sober, vigilant and connected in the clefts of the rock, any power that dares the power of God upon your life will hit its head upon the rock and draw its own blood while you enjoy your walk with God. It is only in the clefts that you have the blood cover. People overlook this secret. It is not in the title or exhibitionism, it is in the clefts that we can live godly in this present world, looking for the blessed hope – making serious kingdom investments without being loud. That is the model that God has given us in this ministry.

Pray –

  • Ask God to help you live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world, denying ungodliness, breaking away from worldly lust (a negative pull to hell which brings the spirit of competition).

Heb. 12:14-15 says, “Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and thereby many be defiled.” Those who are not holy do not have the visa to heaven. It is possible to fall out of grace. If you fail to look diligently that means that there is danger of failing of the grace of God. Root of bitterness will derail many destinies. Sometime ago, I was invited to minister in a vigil. During the service, I was led to make a call for those who are holding others in unforigiveness. I was shocked at the number of people that responded to that call. The Lord ministered to me further that most of them were holding their husband in bitterness. When I made that second call, the number of people that also responded was unbelievable.

You must not forget that we are all work in progress. We need to acknowledge our littleness so that God can help us. Is there any root of bitterness in you? There is no grace for those who harbor unforgiveness in their heart. This is one of the things that short-circuit the flow of grace. God has infinite grace to bestow upon his children, but his hands can be tied.

Pray –

  • Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your word. Help me to know that sin is dangerous and to flee from every appearance of evil. Grant me the grace not to tolerate nonsense in my life. Grant me the humble heart to pursue purity at all costs in the name of Jesus. Wherever I need to make amends, Lord, please help me.
  • Make haste, O God to help me, make haste to deliver me. May I never be an enemy of my own progress, success, and of the grace of God in the name of Jesus. Thank you blessed Lord.
  • Lord, I ask for grace to release unconditional forgiveness to anyone that I am still holding down. Remove every root of bitterness from my heart and help me to enjoy the grace that you bestow in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen!
