2020/2021 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 26A (THE BENEFITS OF PARTNERING WITH THE PRECIOUS HOLYSPIRIT)

The greatest partnership that can ever be is partnership with the Holy Spirit. The benefits of partnering with the precious Holy Spirit should spur us into not disconnecting from this wonderful personality that God the Father has given us. Jesus promised that he will not leave us comfortless. He promised to send the comforter to us when he was departing. This promise was fulfilled. We need to consciously cultivate and nurture this relationship. Everything in the world is programmed to keep us busy, far away from God but we need God more than we need oxygen. Knowledge of the benefits of partnering with the precious Holy Spirit will definitely help us to place more value and pay more attention to him. Once you start enjoying this wonderful relationship, you will find it difficult to disconnect.

1. The Holy Spirit brings us to salvation. The first thing the Holy Spirit does for the believer is salvation.

2. Power for holy living and service is the Holy Spirit’s second purpose in our lives. He not only empowers our being born again, our transformation and work of regeneration (removing the heart of stone and giving us the heart of flesh), he also empowers us to live right and serve God acceptably. John 16:7-11, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” The Holy Spirit makes us aware of the sinfulness of sin and of how short we come of God’s standard of righteousness and of the awful judgment which awaits every sinner. The Holy Spirit reveals the standard of God to us so that whenever we measure ourselves against the standard, we can realize that we do not measure up. The word of God says that our righteousness is like filthy rags in the presence of God. The Holy Spirit convicts us whenever we want to veer off or about to take the wrong step; the Holy Spirit checkmates us giving us a signal that something is not right.

Pray –

• I welcome you precious Holy Spirit into my life, come in the fullness of your power. Come in the fullness of your grace. Come in the fullness of your wisdom. Help me. Energize me. How I need you! Look into my life and help me. Help me to overcome sin. Grant me the grace to live in holiness, to be established in righteousness and in the wisdom of God.

• Make it impossible for me to come short of the glory of God. In every area of my life, I depend on you Holy Spirit, help me. Let the manifestation of your presence be visible in my life more than ever before in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you blessed Holy Spirit, in Jesus name I pray.
