WISDOM KEYS FOR PERENNIAL FRUITFULNESS 4B

God wants us to be fruitful. Anything you are doing that is not bearing fruit is not in line with the purpose of God for your life. God expects us to be fruitful comprehensively – all manner of fruitfulness. In the works of your hand, he expects you to be fruitful, in your kingdom walk, you should be fruitful, in your relationship with God, you should be fruitful, in your relationship with one another, you should be fruitful, in your academic pursuits, you should be fruitful, in your business pursuits, you should be fruitful and in everything. If you are experiencing unfruitfulness in any area of your life, you should get angry in spirit because what you tolerate, you cannot change. As long as you rationalize it, it will remain part and parcel of you.

Gen. 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” God expects us to populate the world with fruits – wisdom fruits, fruits of his character which includes the fruits of the Holy Spirit. If you are a child of God and you are not bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit, then something is terribly wrong. Fruit bearing is multidimensional. We should be fruitful

• In holiness
• In righteousness
• In wisdom
• In demonstration and manifestation of the power of the almighty God.
• In reproducing ourselves in the lives of people around us.
• In aligning your environment with the purposive will of God.
• In imparting your world with the message of transformation – the message of Christ.

God expects us to be fruitful perennially; not just in the morning of our lives; he expects us to be fruitful in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening and the night of our lives. That is why he says in Psa. 92:13-15, “Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing to shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him”. Age is a plus and not a minus. From today, your age will no longer count against you. At age 84, Caleb said, “give me this mountain” (Josh. 14:12) – this mountain was full of giants! Those who had grasshopper mentality chickened out. Nobody ever rises above their personal persuasion.

One of the greatest blockades is the blockade of the mind. David saw a giant, but he saw beyond the giant to the God of Israel who is able to give him victory. David never ran away from Goliath as others did, he ran towards him instead. You cannot slay a giant that you have magnified in your mind above God, it is just not possible. In the realm of the spirit, the battle of the mind is of utmost importance. What type of mentality do you have? May the Lord give unto you the overcomers’ mentality in the name of Jesus. The only people that are rewarded in heaven are overcomers. “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Rev. 3:5. The overcomers’ anointing is flowing in the life of any child of God who connects to Jesus, the greatest overcomer. Every goliath you slay magnifies the God you serve.

God does not expect his children to chicken out; he expects his children to be giant killers and that was why he gave them the Promised Land to go and possess. When God gives you an assignment, he knows that you will stand. The assignment might be bigger than you but it can never be bigger than the God you are connected to so that you can look up and connect to him. It is through him and not through you that we shall do valiantly. Our connection with God should make us victorious, regardless of where the battle is fought. Is it raging in your finances, business, family, battles of the night or the battles in the day? God is well and able. Jehovah Sabaoth is the Lord of host. Look at the resources of heaven at your disposal and you will smile at every challenge that comes your way.
