Some people believe that their problems would be solved when they relocate abroad in search of greener pastures. Nothing can be farther from the truth. I receive a lot of distress calls from those who are already there. Their lifestyle is fraught with problems, far from perfection. Some of them are in so much debt particularly with their mortgage. Instead of imparting wisdom into their children at school, their professors end up feeding them with foolishness while incubating their hearts with all sorts of perversion and error. Some of them get so intellectual that they begin to question the very existence of God! This is the height of foolishness.

The Bibles says, the fool hath said in his heart, there is no God (Psalm 14:1). Your heart has a voice, ears and eyes. The heart and mind are used interchangeably in the Bible. Whatever you allow into your heart has entered your mind. That is one of the reasons why it is very difficult to raise godly children in the world today. They are so glued to other frequencies with their gadgets. We need to fence off the snake from the garden of our heart and return to God. We need to fall in love with God and become worshippers; those who place absolute value on their relationship with God; those who treasure God above every other thing in their heart. Learn to occupy where God has placed you. May you never abdicate your responsibility. May things not go wrong where you ought to be in charge in the name of Jesus.

Pray –

  • Lord, in any way that I have missed your mark, in any way that I have allowed things to go wrong where you have placed me, I am sorry. I repent and ask for grace, O God, to place you above all else in my heart. Make it impossible for me O God to abdicate my responsibility in the name of Jesus Christ. Grant me grace to give quality leadership to my family in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • May I never be tuned to the frequency of the deceiver, lies, snake, and the destroyer in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Grant me grace to walk with you. Help me, O God, in Jesus name. Amen.
