SEVEN REASONS WHY THERE SHALL BE NO MORE LACK

2. The manifest presence of God destroys lack CONT’D.
Psa. 123:3 reveals contempt, “Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt”. The contempt of poverty has come to an end in your life in the mighty name of Jesus.

After the prayer of agreement, I went out combing my territory daily. One day I decided to drop a proposal at a merchant bank. On getting to the Chairman’s office, he was in a board meeting. While waiting for him at his Secretary’s office I slept off. When I woke up, his secretary informed me that she did not know when the meeting would end. I slept off again. When I woke up the second time, I had to leave because it was getting late and I had to submit my report at my office before closing for the day. I dropped the proposal with his secretary and pleaded with her that she should please ensure that it got to the Chairman. She collected the proposal from me and I left.

After many days, the Managing Director called me to his office as I was about to close for the day and informed me that while I was out of the office, there was a call from the merchant bank where I dropped my proposal requesting for discussion on the proposal. Since I wasn’t around a colleague was sent to close the deal and the next call from the bank was that I should come and pick the cheque. The presence of God terminates lack. I wasn’t sure of which of the machines I quoted for would be purchased so l went to the bank thinking that they were about to purchase only one.

On getting there, I received a cheque for four machines, to the glory of God. It was such a huge victory which attracted the attention of the chairman of my company. No one had sold any machine in the office that month. The commission from the transaction was more than enough to get me a car and a plot of land in Lagos. There is a major breakthrough that will announce you, create overflow for you and whoever hears about it will see the hand of God at work in your life.

Pray –

• Lord, I ask for that major breakthrough that will change all things to the glory, praise and honour of your name. That major breakthrough that will glorify you, magnify your name and terminate every lack, woe and destroy the curse of poverty, scarcity and lack in Jesus’ name. Amen.
