Many times, God has pulled us from the brink, it is out of love and by the power of his outstretched hand that he does this. Father we appreciate you for your grace in our lives.

After one of our prayer meetings, as a family was returning home, they were trapped in traffic at a bridge not far away from the Fellowship center. Armed robbers serially attacked every car one after the other in the traffic, but miraculously left theirs untouched. I believe there was an angel on assignment saying ‘touch not!’ Let’s appreciate God for His divine cover of glory that makes this kind of thing happen. We give God all the glory and all the praise.

I do tell people that safety is never the absence of danger but, the presence of God in the midst of it. The bible says though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff (Psalm 23:4). The presence of God is what insulates us from evil. The presence of God guarantees safety and if you have that at the back of your mind you will walk through a fear-free zone. It is very important for us to know because faith and fear do not co-habit. When one takes charge the other disappears. What you worship is what gets magnified in your life.

Like worship, faith also is placement of value. We need to get things right from the foundation. It takes quality time in God’s presence for you to be a carrier of his presence that will guarantee your safety.

Pray –

  • Ask God to make you a true worshipper.
