2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 5E (CONFRONTING IDOLATRY)

Idolatry promotes defilement. Anything that is defiled becomes a food for demons. Wherever you find idolatry, you find manifestation and celebration of demons. That is the greatest problem of the Nigerian church. The church that condones it cannot confront it. If God wants to do something very deep in your life, He will lead you to confront idolatry. Anytime the children of God threw away their idols, God showed up. It takes a holy anger to deal with idolatry. What you tolerate, you cannot change. What you condone, you cannot confront. Is there any idol God is asking you to do away with? Do not hesitate.

If God is telling you to drop any idol, it is because he has something better for you. He knows that if you hold it, you will end up where you never expected to. Everybody will end up in the home of their owner. Idolatry puts an evil seal on people’s destiny. No Idolater will make it to the promised land. 

Pray –

• Father help me to confront every idol in my life. Anything that I put side by side you in my heart, anything that is capable of blocking my heavens, anything that is capable of making my prayer unacceptable to you, anything that is capable of perverting my worship, Lord help me throw it away.  

• Help me indeed to walk uprightly and to walk hand in hand with you so that your purpose will be fulfilled in every facet of my life.

• Give me a perfect heart in the name of Jesus Christ. Take away any idol from the garden of my heart in the name of Jesus.

• Grant me the grace to be where you want me to be in the name of Jesus. Make my path the part of the righteous that shines from brightness to brightness unto a perfect noon day in the name of Jesus.

• Do not allow me to miss your mark. Deliver me from iniquity, cleanse me with the precious blood of your son Jesus Christ.

• I align my will with your purposive will and I declare in the name of Jesus Christ of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that I will not be defiled by anything that flows from the king’s table.

• Anything that defiles and damns, I reject and renounce it. I raise the blood of Jesus against it in the name of Jesus Christ.

• Forever, I renounce every claim of idolatry over my life in the name of Jesus Christ. I burn any bridge that link me to any idol in the name of Jesus Christ. I put the blood of Jesus between me and idolatry in the name of Jesus Christ.
