2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 5D (CONFRONTING IDOLATRY)

Idolatry promotes other vices, especially stealing. Anywhere you find idolatry, you cannot stop people from stealing. It is the same spirit of perversion that pushes people, the same snake, the same spirit of deception. Lying is easy, anybody who is an idolater is already deceived. It is the spirit of deception that promotes other forms of religion. Idolatry is the perversion of worship.

Hosea 5:10; “The leaders of Judah have become the lowest sort of thieves. Therefore, I will pour my anger down upon them like a waterfall…..”

The leaders of Judah are not alone in this vice. Many national leaders are also culpable. That is why corruption is very prevalent in the world today.  The worst type of stealing in the corridors of power today is borrowing for consumption. May you not share of the booty of the ungodly in Jesus’ name.

Pray –

• Lord make it impossible for me to share of the booty of the ungodly in the name of Jesus Christ. Make it impossible for me to share of the booty of idolatry in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Lord shield me and every member of my family from feasting on idolatry in the mighty name of Jesus.

• Help me oh God to hate what you hate and love what you love in the name of Jesus.

What was it that blessed Daniel? Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to be defiled by the king’s portion. Prosperity of the ungodly is not good for a child of God.

Pray –

• As far as the east is separated from the west, Lord please shield me from the prosperity of the ungodly in Jesus’ name. May I not feast from their bounties in the name of Jesus.

• Lord, I declare that whatever you cannot give me in your holiness, righteousness and wisdom is not good enough for me or any member of my family in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God calls idolatry a horrible thing, God calls it an abomination. May you not be part of what God calls an abomination. It is part of the paradoxes of the church today. The church is an open place for all, idolaters inclusive. However, the crime is not in coming the way you are but in going the way you came. God’s word is able to transform an idolater to a true worshipper.
