2021/2022 OPERATION 18-18 DAY 9F (GET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT I)

God is the greatest agent of transformation; “Let there be light”. Why was the earth empty and void? A personality, a destroyer, a waster, an emptier, a thief, a destroyer, a liar; evil put on flesh to become the devil. That is why wise people don’t allow evil to thrive in their environment. Don’t frolic with evil. Evil does not get better with time. Let’s learn to enthrone God in our sphere, in our homes and everywhere we go. If God asks you not to tell lies, it is because he does not want darkness to take over your life.

When Christ comes to town, the devil leaves. It is not about the proliferation of Churches, as long as there is darkness, something is wrong somewhere.

Mark 10:29-30 specifies some of the blessings associated with seeking God. Matt. 6:31-32 itemizes some of the things that people seek. What do people seek first? Every man is a hunter and what does he hunt? There is thick darkness in the world today. We are supposed to be the light of the world. Man generally hunts for food, clothes, money (wealth), power, self esteem. Every self seeker is a great loser. Man seeks the endorsement of man. Jer. 17:5, 7, says, “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” Where do you put your trust? What have you enthroned in your heart? Who is occupying the throne of your life? What is your god? What are your priorities?

• Everlasting and most merciful father, I thank you for the privilege of knowing you. Grant me the grace never to be carried away by the deceitfulness of riches. Establish me in your holiness, righteousness and wisdom in Jesus’ name. Amen.
